Al-Beeb launches Arabic television station
In about four hours, at 10:00 AM GMT, al-Beeb will launch a new Arabic television channel. The channel will be free to everyone in North Africa and the Middle East with a satellite or cable connection.Just like the Beeb always does....
It will distinguish itself from other state-funded channels by reporting "without fear or favour", BBC World Service director Nigel Chapman said.
Heh.
But that's not all.
In this climate, the veteran journalist Hasan Muawad, who is going to host a big interview programme based on BBC World's Hard Talk, believes the new station will have an important role to play.Heh.
"I think others will learn from us probably," he says.
"We'll push the boundaries of press freedom... in the Arab world because we have nothing to hide - we have no agenda."
Do I sound cynical enough? More examples of al-Beeb's bias here, here, here, here, here, here and many, many other places.

How would they compete to win anti-Western viewers with a pro-Western viewpoint? They're already as anti-Amer/Israel as al-Jazeera. How will they differentiate? In fact, while Arab journalists endeavour to be MORE objective, British dhimmis endeavour to be more loved by the romantically powerful Arab world. Inversion is likely!
Carl, nitchazek! (Comments welcome at DemoCast.TV, too!)
And while we're at it, Zionistic investors interested in defending their daily desecrated dignity in the global, pecking-order are welcome to contact me about plans to extend a sane world-view to the global satellite forum.

Sounds like the Emperor's new clothes saga.
This is the kind of stuff the BBC is putting out in the UK.
