Israel returns Dimona suicide bombers' bodies to Hamas

Israel has returned to Hamas the bodies of the two suicide bombers who murdered a woman in Dimona two weeks ago. Hamas then buried the bodies with much fanfare in Hebron.
Hamas held a joint funeral procession for the two men in PA-controlled Hevron Thursday.

Hamas reported on its web site: “Large masses of Al-Khalil [Hevron] people marched on Wednesday evening in the funeral procession of Mohamed Al-Hirbawi and Shadi Al-Zaghir, the Kassam fighters who carried out the human bombing operation in the Israeli Dimona settlement [sic].”
Given that Hamas continues to hold kidnapped IDF corporal Gilad Shalit, it is not clear why the government decided to give them the bodies of the two terrorists for which it received nothing in return.

That's because "we're not like them", you know...

I'm not surprised. Israel shows more concern for the enemy dead than for Gilad Shalit, in their hands. Apparently, no one in the government saw fit to ask if Hamas should at least pay something to get the bodies back. Oy vey!
