The weekly Carnival of the Insanities is up and running on this, the first day of standard time in the US (that's "winter time" for the rest of you). Make sure you check it out and see all the inane and insane things that happened this week. With one year to the Presidential election, I have to wonder how they're going to keep everyone interested from now until then....

I am an Orthodox Jew - some would even call me 'ultra-Orthodox.' Born in Boston, I was a corporate and securities attorney in New York City for seven years before making aliya to Israel in 1991 (I don't look it but I really am that old :-).
