The circus in action

This is a video of last Wednesday's Knesset Audit Committee session at which Arkady Gaydamak testified. It's hysterical, although to get it all you will need some Hebrew. Here's a bit of a summary I wrote up for the comments section of the blog where it was posted (Hat Tip: Thanos):
Gaydamak (search him on my blog; I've discussed him several times) put them in their place. The two people who were yelling the most loudly at him were Avshalom Vilan (the portly guy in the white shirt) from the leftist Meretz party (which is not in the government) and Shelly Yichimovich (or however she spells it in English), the woman next to Vilan, who used to be a talk show host and is now one of the most leftist members of the Labor party. The guy on the other side of Yichimovich with the long black coat and the beard is Yaakov Litzman of the ultra-Orthodox United Torah Judaism party (also not in the government - he was deposed as chairman of the Knesset Finance Committee so they could bring Yisrael Beiteinu into the government) told Yichimovich and Vilan that yes, they are in the government for money and power. Litzman is American-born. In the end, the chairman, Zevulun Orlev of National Union/National Religious Party (also not in the government), told Gaydamak that he had to apologize (instead of kicking him out of the meeting) so Gaydamak said okay, not everyone is in the government for money and power.
