Breaking - No majority in Round 1 of Presidential voting
The results of the first round of the Presidential voting were just announced and no one got a majority. The results were:Peres - 58
Rivlin - 37
Avital - 21
Colette Avital, the Labor party candidate, has dropped out in the second round. So it's between Ruby Rivlin and Slimy Shimon Peres. This round will be the last if either candidate gets 61 votes. Otherwise, we go to a third round where all one needs is a majority to win.
