'Palestinians' and leftist supporters seize house in Kiryat Sefer

'Palestinians' and their leftist supporters have seized a Jewish home that is under construction in Kiryat Sefer (Modi'in Ilit).

According to Army Radio, the group claims that the house is being constructed on 'Palestinian territory.' According to Judea and Samaria Police, they waved a Palestinian flag from the building.

Police and IDF troops gathered in the area and are awaiting decisions from the civil administration and the brigade commander.

UPDATE 5:55 PM

The IDF and the police have expelled the 'Palestinians' (three families) from the building.

The building was being built on land that the 'Palestinians' claim is owned by a resident of the nearby village of Bil'in. In April, a 'police investigation' was opened into 'illegal building' in what is known as the 'Matityahu East' neighborhood of Kiryat Sefer. The building, whose apartments are partially completed, are located in that neighborhood, and the three families alleged that under Jordanian law, the 'Palestinian' who owns the land, 'owns' the buildings, and that she rented the buildings to them.

The Jerusalem Post quotes one Yonatan Pollack, a 'left-wing activist' as 'haling the event' saying that it is "an historic event. The Palestinians are no longer afraid to reclaim their lands, even inside Jewish settlements."

Pollack added that the families had brought with them an electricity generator and kitchen equipment.

I wonder where Pollack will be when the Kassams start flying from there to the airport (which is close by). Probably in Eurabia somewhere.
