Palestinian Civil War Watch - 'Civil servants' storm PA parliament

Dozens of mostly Fatah loyal 'civil servants' stormed the Hamas-dominated 'parliament' in Ramallah this morning to demand their back salaries. They attacked Hamas MP's and forced the 'parliament's' speaker to flee the building.

Parliament speaker Abdel Aziz Duaik, a top Hamas official, fled the hall under heavy guard shortly before the crowd burst in.

"I'm not coming back until they leave," Duaik said as he rushed out.

What a brave man....

According to al-AP, the 'demonstrators' chanted slogans and banged on the door of the building before entering the hall. The angry crowd then pelted Hamas lawmakers with water bottles, tissue boxes and other small items. Some climbed onto the lawmakers' desks. Well, at least they didn't have any guns with them....

"We are hungry. We are hungry," the protesters screamed. Got to get my violin out....

There. Now I feel better. I wonder what they were chanting.... (2, 4, 6, 8 Israel is a Jewish state, 3, 5, 7, 9, there's no such thing as 'Palestine'!)
