PA foreign minister: Zarqawi's death will not end resistance

Well, there's someone else besides the looney left at Daily Kos and Democratic Underground who is upset that al-Zarqawi is gone: 'Palestinian foreign minister' Mahmoud Zahar.

Palestinian Foreign Minister Mahmoud Zahar rejected the suggestion that the killing of al Qaida in Iraq leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi would hinder armed struggle.

[His] death was only a minor loss to the anti-US resistance movement in Iraq, the Palestinian foreign minister said on Thursday.

Zahar, who has been meeting Pakistani officials in the capital of Islamabad, said the Palestinians are "blessing every effort to eliminate the existence of occupation."

"We are dead sure that assassination of any of the people (like al-Zarqawi) who are resisting will not ... end the resistance," Zahar said at a press conference.

Maybe. But it puts a big hole in the leadership.

Did you actually read the DKos link? There was no mourning at Zarqawi's demise. It is feeding disinfo to say the DKos people are unhappy at Zarqawi's death.
