Arming Fatah
I reported last week that Ehud Olmert's government had supplied 'moderate' 'Palestinian President'This evening, Arutz Sheva is reporting that Hamas has accused the United States and Israel of bringing in the guns "to fan a civil war" among Arabs (it's not clear to me what the US has to do with this - the guns apparently came from Jordan). And Abu Mazen is now claiming that the guns never arrived (What? They got lost on the way?), adding "We need them from time to time."
My personal guess is that the guns have arrived and that Force 17 has used them, but that Abu Mazen can never admit that to Hamas. That's what seems logical anyway.
