Ever wonder how Hamas influences media coverage in Gaza? I'm sure
you can guess.
Today, Hamas forcibly closed the Gaza Strip bureaus of the Al Arabiya and Maan news agencies for criticizing its leaders.
Hamas Attorney General Ismail Jaber told The Associated Press
that he closed Al Arabiya and Maan because they "spread fabricated
rumors" that "harm the Palestinian national interest and resistance
movements."
Who is next in Hamas' campaign to silence all criticism?
I'm glad the IDF is pointing this out, but does anyone really think things are any better in the Fatah-run 'Palestinian Authority'? Why doesn't the IDF have a special page on their blog to point out the 'Palestinian Authority's misbehavior?
