Abu Mazen killing the goose that's laying his golden eggs

It's been more than four years since 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen's term in office expired, and he apparently doesn't understand that while he has a lot of support in the West, the only reason they're actually putting their money where their mouths are is because of Prime Minister Salam Fayyad.

Now, Abu Mazen is about to kill the goose that keeps laying the golden eggs. He's about to fire Fayyad.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas may dismiss Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayad, according to an AFP report quoting a member of Fatah's Revolutionary Council on Friday.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, the member said that the president “is leaning towards dismissing Fayyad from the head of the government and forming a new one.”

According to the member, the conflict between Abbas and Fayad arose following the resignation of the Palestinian Authority's finance minister Nabil Qasis when Abbas refused to accept the resignation but Fayad agreed to.

The official said "Abbas informed Fayyad that if Nabil Qasis did not return to the finance ministry... Abbas would dismiss his government and form a new one," AFP reported.
Faster, faster.
