Video: Goldwasser and Regev kidnapping in 2006

I can't vouch for its authenticity (and I've heard from at least one person who questions whether it was that green along the border in July) but here's what purports to be a video of the kidnapping of IDF soldiers Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev by Hezbullah on July 12, 2006.

Let's go to the videotape.

Note that the kidnapping takes place on the Israeli side of the border.

Do I remember right (or did we hear the right thing) that Ehud and Eldad were actually killed before they took them? What is all the firing in the video? OMG! that border should have ZERO attacks. Nothing to resist except maybe their own govt or Syria or Iran...

So on the night of July 11, we sat outside @ Hagoshrim, listening to a live Mosh Ben Ari concert and looking at the twinkling lights of the overlooking hills of Lebanon. Beautiful! Hagoshrim is pretty much like Club Med Cancun... fantastic place to vacation.

The next morning (the 12th), we got on the tour bus and headed to Beit She'an, where we looked at the very cool Roman archaeology discoveries. Then we went on to Sachne and floated. Then back on the bus to go down the Jordan Valley and up into Jerusalem from the East. This is the ground level section that I keep clamoring for U.S. govt leaders, visitors, etc. to drive. Not fly over but drive on the ground to see the elevations and also the greenhouses and other enterprises that are Israeli, but employ Palestinians. Boycott the "West Bank" products and you eliminate the Palestinians' jobs. Cesar Chavez discovered exactly this when he called for grape and lettuce boycotts, during which all the nice people did what he said, and it collapsed his people's industry, causing some to actually be hungry. So, the LEFT does NOT CARE about ACTUAL PEOPLE. They just want to be IN CONTROL. Cesar Chavez called off the boycott, but it took YEARS for the market to recover and people to get back to buying the grapes and lettuce.

Anyway, as we drove from Sachne to Jerusalem, the tour guide announced the kidnapping and spent the whole way translating the radio to us. All were very upset. (But I don't remember the concept that there was a bunch of shooting where their jeep was, so that is possible new info for me.) It may be because of what was going on that that drive in the Jordan Valley made such an impression on me.

The next day, while we were at Yad Vashem (along with the PM of Japan) the rockets started. And went on and on for weeks, during which Condi Rice, then Secy of State, kept interloping in trying to deter the Israelis from taking decisive action to stop the rockets coming onto Israeli civilians from Lebanon. The IAF jets pounded away on the Hezbollah HQ area in Beirut, but the rockets from southern Leb landed on civilians inside Israel for weeks. Z"l Ehud and Eldad...

Those are very clean uniforms the terrorist actors are wearing. In Hollywood we call this unprofessional and poor craftsmanship on the part of wardrobe. This clip is classic Pallywood propaganda.
