'Palestinian Authority' silent over Thursday's terror attacks

The 'Palestinian Authority' has been silent about Thursday's terror attacks outside of Eilat, and Israel is trying to use that silence to show that the 'Palestinians' are not ready for a 'state.'
The Palestinian silence regarding Thursday’s terrorist attack in the South was “deafening,” and raises serious questions about the Palestinian Authority’s readiness for independence, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s spokesman Mark Regev said Sunday.

“The Palestinian leadership’s failure to condemn Thursday’s attack against civilians raises serious questions about their readiness for independence, and their commitment to fight terrorism,” Regev said. “Their silence was deafening.”

Government sources noted that even Yasser Arafat would issue pro-forma condemnations of violence during the height of the second intifada, something the PA leadership has not yet done since Thursday’s attack.
And if Abu Bluff issued the kind of hypocritical denouncement that Arafat used to issue, would that make them ready for a 'state'? Ridiculous. They're not ready for a 'state' because they have yet to accept the idea (and they will never accept the idea) that if they get a 'state,' it's the end of their claims against Israel. And they're not going to condemn terror, because deep down they're a bunch of terrorists just like Hamas. It's time we stopped fooling ourselves that things are otherwise.
