Why aren't J Street's lies like Nixon's?

It all brings to mind Sen. Sam Ervin's famous invocation during Watergate of the couplet by Walter Scott: "Oh! What a tangled web we weave/When first we practice to deceive!" And it makes it tempting to call J Street's behavior Nixonian. But that would be unfair to Richard Nixon. He was a friend of Israel.Heh.
