Obama threatens Netanyahu
In an earlier post, I discussed President Obama's draft letter to Prime Minister Netanyahu that seeks to exchange some less-than-valuable goodies for a 60-day extension of the 'settlement freeze.' There were apparently some not very subtle threats that went along with that draft letter that only appeared in the Hebrew media. Aaron Lerner translates (Hat Tip: Will). Simply put, under the Obama proposal, Israel would be "rewarded" for extending the freeze by 60 days by having an American gun put to the Jewish State's forehead with the warning: "make a deal with the Palestinians within a year or the Palestinians will unilaterally be rewarded with a sovereign Palestinians state".What could go wrong?
The introduction of this American threat would irreparably doom the prospects of Israel actually reaching an agreement with the Palestinians during the course of the negotiations since the Palestinians would know that they bring to the UNSC whatever Israeli concession were put on the table during the course of the year when they go to the USNC for an imposed solution.
The article also indicates that the letter included American offers of military gizmos and that the matter of the settlements would not be raised at other forums during the course of the year of negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians
Brodenstein adds that Mr. Obama also threatens that if his offer is not accepted that the U.S. will make what he terms a major gesture to the Palestinians damaging Israel: formally taking the stand that the final borders should be based on the '67 lines with adjustments.

Israel should turn down the Obama threats and tell the US to shove it.
The Palestinians walk out of the talks, there will no Palestinian state without Israel's agreement.
Its time to turn on revanant construction full-blast to avert the Palestinians being able to set up one up without having to make peace with Israel.
The more Jews in Yesha, the likelihood it will happen will be reduced to zero. Its time to get started on taking care of Israel's vital national interests first.
Perhaps it's best the Secular Savior feels comfortable enough not to mask his continuing naked and aggressive anti-Israel bias. At least all the cards will be on the table.
And the Dinosaur Media, no matter how much they may try this time, won't be able to cover their Golden Boy's dangerous petulance.
Hopefully, Bibi won't blink...at all.

Stay strong Israel. Obama is weak even in his own country, within two years, by next year he won't be fit to be a dog catcher.
