Hamas 'leadership' hiding in Shifa Hospital

The Jerusalem Post is reporting this morning that the Hamas 'leadership' is hiding in Shifa Hospital in Gaza City:
The defense officials said it was likely that a number of senior Hamas operatives and terror chiefs were hiding and conducting their operations from within Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

"Hamas operatives are in the hospital and have disguised themselves as nurses and doctors," one official said.

OC Military Intelligence Maj.-Gen. Amos Yadlin told the cabinet that Hamas was using mosques, public institutions and private homes as ammunition stores.
What do you all think would happen if Israel bombed Shifa Hospital after warning civilians to leave?

It goes without saying that combatants hiding in a hospital violates the Geneva Convention....

Of course it does. Israel should go ahead and decapitate Hamas. I'm sure the international outcry will be frightening. The long term benefits would be substantial.

If Israel knows for sure that they are there (very high ranking Hamas leaders), then Israel must take the step neccessary to protect itself from a violent agressor that threatens the Apple of God's eye every day -- meaning, drop a ten ton bomb on the hospital or whatever it takes.

The problem is, what if Israel leaflets the hospital and Hamas leadership flees? Hamas has seen what Israel did to another high ranking officer, leaflets and then boom. This time they might flee.

While I would prefer them to leaflet and have the innocent wounded leave, I wonder if it is too risky. Like NormanF said, it is time to decapitate Hamas.

Oh, and screw public/world opinion.

ytba: ...and Israel is to blame for this right? The millions of dollars (if not billions) the world gives to those two tiny little strips of land those mythical carpetbaggers occupy is spent on weapons, bombs, bomb-making gear, etc and etc. The truth is, with all the money the Pala's receive, they should be well off. Instead they prefer to kill innocent Jews 24/7. The leadership is to blame.

Imagine if they stopped their hate and the arabs corroborated with Israel, the region would be a bigger powerhouse than the USA!

Daniel, if I'm not mistaken, the Arabs in occupied Gaza, Judea and Samaria received about 1.3 billion dollars in aid during 2008 alone.

Can anyone verify that figure? And I'm sure it does not include the value of smuggled weapons.

Shy Guy: Wow, in only 1 year? You've got to be kidding me! That is insanely ridiculous! It's more than obvious where this money goes, though.... (hint: to kill Jews)

I know Carl has made these clear many times with meticulous research and evidence but I also want to share what one of my favorite seminary and pastor teacher (Kenny Rhodes-SermonAudiodotcom) said:

"The 'Palestinian' people are not an ethnic group, they are not a people, they are not an indigenous people. They are descendants from other arabs in that area with absolutely no history of being in that land and they have no claim to the land of Israel. It has always been Israel's land since God gave it to Israel and ordered Yaakov to conquer the Canaanites. There is no such thing as a 'Palestinian' people."

So, there you have it from a very good Christian man, too bad not all my brethren think the same, but we are getting there. I hope that statement shuts up the mouth of any who would disparaging comments here in favor of the carpetbaggers.

Correction to above post:

I was literally in prayer just now and going to sleep and thinking about this post and Israel in general when I remembered it was Joshua who conquered the Canaanites not Jacob. The fault is mine, not the preacher, I was going on memory ;) D'oh!

Sorry!
