Europe extends an invitation to Hamas

You can expect a lot more of this if Barack Hussein Obama is elected President of the United States on Tuesday. And don't be surprised if an Obama administration joins the Europeans. After all, he can talk to anyone without setting preconditions (even if the terrorists do set conditions).
Ahmed Bahar, the acting speaker of the Hamas parliament, said the EU invited him and a delegation of the Palestinian Legislative Council to visit the EU headquarters in Brussels in March. He said Hamas lawmakers agreed to go.

The invitation was given by Kyriacos Triantaphyllides, head of a European delegation that visited Gaza on Monday.

Speaking to Reuters, Triantaphyllides defended the invitation.

"We don't care who they are as long as they are members of the Legislative Council," Triantaphyllides said. "We don't ask if they are members of Hamas or members of Fatah."

"The PLC was elected in 2006 and it was democratically elected," Triantaphyllides continued.
This move violates Europe's own 'boycott' of Hamas and is largely symbolic since - for now at least - Israel is unlikely to let the Hamas 'leadership' leave Gaza. But wait until Obama gets into power....

He will join the Europeans and anyone without a precondition. Great thinking, only from the liberal illuminati right?
