'Closer than ever?'

A good summer to everyone.

For those of you who are wondering how an Orthodox Jew could be online on the second night of Shavuos, go to this link, read the first sentence, and recall that I have lived in Israel for nearly seventeen years. (You can read the rest of the link too)!

Israel Radio's 10:00 news reported on Monday night that the criminal Ron Pundak, of the Peres Center for 'Peace,' who negotiated with the PLO when it was legally considered a terror organization and it was illegal for Israelis to do so, said this evening that the Olmert-Barak-Livni-Yishai government is 'closer than ever' to an understanding with the 'Palestinian Authority' on a 'settlement.' He was explicit that this includes all supposed aspects of the dispute, including borders, territory, Jerusalem and 'refugees' (which was put in terms of 'how many will be allowed in each year').

/I can't wait.

Just like old times. Israel gives and the Palestinians take. If true, the only question is how much Israel gave to get an agreement that isn't worth the paper it would signed on.
