Kadima officials: Realignment impossible

YNet is reporting this morning that senior Kadima Achora officials are saying that Ehud Olmert's convergence consolidation realignment surrender and expulsion plan cannot be carried out.

According to YNet, the remarks were made by senior government ministers, who were politically affiliated with right-wing parties before Kadima's establishment. I think that translates into several of the Likud ministers.
One minister said: "If you think it is possible to implement a unilateral realignment plan, and realign along the three large settlement blocks - forget it. It is impossible. There is no support for this in the world. I am not sure the plan will gain majority support within Kadima."

"Withdrawing unilaterally and failing to gain approval for the final border, undermines the entire process. What do we gain from withdrawing from the territories, if we fail to establish a permanent border?" the minister asked.

The minister said he fears that the Kadima-Labor coalition will collapse over disagreements on the plan.
Faster, faster!

Especially facinating to read this kind of "behind the curtain" insight when our P.M. Mr. Wallmart is declaring that his unilateral retreat is unstoppable and irrevocable ... and that after Shirak expressed a very clear French "non"!
