Hard to believe
The 'Palestinians' are claiming that for the first time, a Jewish baby was born on Wednesday at a hospital in Ramallah.Palestinian Authority Health Minister Fathi Abu Mugli told WAFA that "a Jewish woman who was in Ramallah for unknown reasons came to the medical complex suffering from abdominal pain and after being examined," it turned out she was in labor.I don't believe this story. I can believe that they would withhold the name for privacy reasons, but where was she from (Jerusalem? Samaria?), why was she in Ramallah, and although she may have been panicked about giving birth early, why would any woman, especially with a premature baby, decline a transfer to a much-better-equipped Israeli hospital? Something doesn't smell right here.
The woman was reportedly asked if she wanted to be transferred by ambulance to an Israeli hospital, but "the mother refused and insisted on staying and delivering the baby in the complex," Mugli said.
The baby was born prematurely at 5.1 pounds (2.3 kilograms) and placed in an intensive care incubator unit, according to the report.
According to the PA health minister, Israel was notified of the baby's birth and it was requested that she be transferred to Israel but the new mother supposedly declined, WAFA reported.
