A word to commenters

All comments on this blog are moderated, which is why you will see no new comments for hours and then dozens of new comments.

At the President's Conference last week, I heard of people being paid to make comments on blogs, which comments link to commercial websites. The comments look legitimate until the links at the end. I will not allow those comments through. Nor will I allow comments that do nothing but link your website (there's actually a legitimate blogger who has sent me hundreds of comments that say "Great post, link exchange please" and link to his blog - none of them has gotten through).

I hope to give you all a spam free experience.

I am an Orthodox Jew - some would even call me 'ultra-Orthodox.' Born in Boston, I was a corporate and securities attorney in New York City for seven years before making aliya to Israel in 1991 (I don't look it but I really am that old :-).
