U'Nesaneh Tokef 5772

It didn't quite make it here in time for Rosh HaShanna, but there's still a week to Yom Kippur.

Here's Avraham Fried with Yair Rosenblum's composition to U'Nesane Tokef (Let us state the effect of the Day's Holiness), a prayer that is at the center of both the Rosh haShanna and Yom Kippur prayers.

Sabbath music video

With Slichoth prayers starting even for Ashkenazim on Saturday night, it's time for those who are not in the mood for Rosh HaShanna yet to start getting in the mood. Here's a light way to get started. It's Mordechai Ben David with the B'Rosh HaShanna paragraph of U'nesaneh Tokef - one of the central prayers of Rosh HaShanna and Yom Kippur. The video should remind you how ephemeral life is.
