2,000 people plant trees in Samaria

2,000 people planted trees in Samaria on Wednesday, mainly in Itamar, where five members of the Fogel family were massacred eleven months ago.

Let's go to the videotape.

Arutz Sheva adds:
The Head of the Itamar Yeshiva, Rav Avichai Ronsky, said at the planting ceremony: "The construction of the yeshiva opposite the village from which the murderers came – that is our victory. Construction in Judea and Samaria is our response to all those who try to hurt us."
Indeed.

For Tu b'Shvat plant trees in the Shomron (Samaria)

Next Wednesday is the 15th day of the Jewish month of Shvat, known as Tu b'Shvat, which the Mishna in Tractate Rosh HaShanna calls the New Year for Trees. It's a day on which we plant trees here in Israel, and you can join in the fun, even from abroad, by going here (Hat Tip: David H).
