Another Sabbath massacre

In an attack reminiscent of the massacre of the Fogel family in Itamar in 2011, a 'Palestinian' terrorist knocked on the door of a Jewish family in the village of Halamish (Neve Tsuf) that was holding a Shalom Zachar (celebration of the birth of a boy) on Friday night, walked in, and started stabbing the residents. The terrorist murdered the grandfather - 70-year old Yosef Salomon, his daughter 46-year old Chaya Salomon, and his son, 36-year old Elad Salomon HY"D (May God Avenge their blood). The grandmother, 68-year old Tova Salomon, was seriously wounded. If not for quick thinking by daughter-in-law Michal Salomon, who rushed her five children into a room, locked the door and called the police, the massacre might have been much worse. An off-duty soldier neighbor shot the terrorist through a nearby window, wounding him. The entire attack, from the time the terrorist jumped the fence of the village until he was neutralized, took less than 15 minutes.

It has been reported that when medics came to treat the terrorist and his victims, the terrorist attempted to attack the medics.

In Gaza, the terror attack triggered celebrations. This morning, Israel's Hebrew-English 'Palestinian' daily, Haaretz, publishes a column by Gideon Levy that dances on the victims' blood before they can even be buried. I won't sicken you by posting quotes from it.

The other group that's dancing on the victims' blood is the international media. Those include al-AP and al-Guardian.
And for those of you who are still foolish enough to believe that Muslims are 'just like us,' here's the terrorist's mother. Let's go to the videotape.
Those who believe that this is not a religious war are simply fooling themselves.

Pizza Hut mocks 'hunger strike leader' Marwan Barghouti

Earlier this week, the leader of the 'Palestinian' terrorist 'hunger strike' for better cable TV, Marwan Barghouti, was caught on camera eating a candy bar in the bathroom of his cell.

On Tuesday, Pizza Hut Israel released the ad below in which Barghouti is asked, 'if you're already going to break the [hunger] strike, why not at least have pizza?'

The ad was on Pizza Hut Israel's Facebook page, where it was quickly removed.

With the Arab world threatening to boycott Pizza Hut, Pizza Hut Lebanon apologized on its Facebook page.

If you're in Israel (I'm in the US again), please visit a Pizza Hut today. Pizza with a sense of humor.

'Palestinian' 'hunger strike' 'leader' caught on camera (twice) sneaking a candy bar in the bathroom

Oh dear. Here's Marwan Barghouti, the supposed 'leader' of the 'Palestinian' terrorist 'hunger strike' in an Israeli prison caught - not once but twice - sneaking candy bars in the bathroom of his cell.

Let's go to the videotape.

I wonder how many 'hunger strikers' will continue if they see their 'fearless leader' in this video. Hope it's being broadcast on the big screen outside Ofer prison in Ramallah, where the worst of the terrorists live.

What a place for a tailgate party!

I have mentioned that there are some 'Palestinian' terrorists in Israeli jails who claim to be on a hunger strike.

In a move that's nothing short of brilliant, the National Union (Ichud Leumi) youth group has been holding a massive barbecue outside the Ofer Prison. The Ofer Prison is at the entrance to Ramallah along Route 443 and is the home of many high risk security prisoners. And the barbecue is enhanced by fans.

Let's go to the videotape.

The fumes have the 'Palestinians' fuming.
The Wall Street Journal reported widespread Palestinian anger over the barbecue:
Palestinian newspapers on Friday condemned the barbecue as another aggression against the Palestinian people.
“How can anyone barbecue with the smell of meat near political prisoners fighting for their country?” said Qadura Fares, head of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, which supports the inmates. He spoke at a demonstration Friday by dozens of Palestinians at Ofer prison, north of Jerusalem.
Various anti-Israel groups have joined the chorus of condemnation.
The Palestine Information Center, a primary center for anti-Israel propaganda, called the Israelis the “scum of the earth“:
Well. Boo. Hoo. (Read the whole thing for a lot more reactions from the Jew haters and the self-hating JINOs).

In the meantime, the funes are having their effect. YNet reported yesterday that 186 hunger strikers have already officially dropped out.
Momentum in a mass hunger strike launched by Palestinian security prisoners last week suffered a blow on Saturday when all of the 84 prisoners in the Hamas wing at Gilboa Prison, and two prisoners in Megiddo Prison, ceased to strike.

The break is the second to have taken place since the hunger strike got underway last week, with 100 prisoners reporting that they were dropping out just 24 hours after it began.

The latest sign of cracks forming in the unified protest, which is being led by Marwan Barghouti—a convicted terrorist—comes just days after 1,187 Palestinian security prisoners announced that they had begun the hunger strike.
What are the 'Palestinian' demands? You won't believe them....
The demands included a provision that the Prisons Service install public telephone wings, similar to those installed for criminal prisoners.

The second demand laid out by the prisoners was that Israel restore the procedure of two visits per month by prisoners' families.
Nine months ago, the Red Cross, which finances the transportation of family members on buses from the West Bank and the Gaza Strip to prisons, reduced the number of family visits from twice a month to once. ostensibly due to financial problems.
The prisoners also demanded that visits be extended from 45 minutes to 90 minutes and that Israel not prevent immediate and extended family members with security-related offenses from visiting. Additionally, prisoners are also demanding that they be allowed to be photographed with their families once every three months.
They've also asked for more cable television channels.  Yes, really. What they'd really like is to be in a 'prison' like this one.
Palestinian guards confirmed yesterday that Ahmed Saadat, a leading militant captured by Israeli troops in the raid, kept birds and flowers in his quarters. Western officials said that Saadat in effect used other prisoners as “domestic staff”.
An official told The Times that Fuad Shobaki, the alleged moneyman behind a 2002 weapons shipment intercepted by Israel, smoked up to five Cuban cigars a day and was known as “The Brigadier” to inmates and staff. He was also seized.
“Saadat and Shobaki were very much in charge,” one prison source said. “These guys were running the prison. They did what they wanted, when they wanted.”
But that prison was run by Britain and not by Israel. The Israeli Prison Service apparently still has some notion of punishment.

Let them starve! UPDATED

'Palestinian' terrorists in Israeli prisons, led by convicted mass murderer Marwan Barghouti, are going on a hunger strike starting Monday.
Prisoners affiliated to the Palestinian People's Party (PPP) announced they would undertake what has come to be known as the “Freedom and Dignity” strike, according to jailed PPP leader and member of the PPP Central Committee Bassem Khandaqji.
"After consultations with prisoners of various factions, PPP-affiliated prisoners decided to join the battle for freedom and dignity on April 17, which coincides with Palestinian Prisoner's Day." Khandaqji said in a statement.
The Palestinian Popular Struggle Front (PPSF) also said on Sunday that prisoners affiliated to the group would join the Fatah-led strike.
The PPSF statement went on to warn of a potential “serious escalation by Israeli authorities against prisoners after they launch the battle for freedom and dignity, which will mark a turning point in the life of Palestinian prisoners.” The group said it "urged the Palestinian people to organize actions to support the hunger strikers in their battle, both at popular and official levels."
Hamas meanwhile confirmed in an official statement on Sunday that prisoners affiliated to the movement held in Hadarim prison would join the strike.
The higher leading committee of Hamas-affiliated prisoners in Israeli custody said it “completely supports the Freedom and Dignity hunger strike, which an elite group of brave prisoners will start tomorrow in order to forcibly obtain our stolen rights.”
“We warn the Israel Prison Service against bringing any harm to the hunger strikers. Any delay in answering their just demands will explode the situation inside all prisons. All prisoners will unite in the face of all those who might harm prisoners and their dignity,” the Hamas statement said.
In the past, Israel has panicked by releasing terrorists who went on hunger strikes in Israeli prisons to avoid letting them die in prison. But Barghouti may be too big to let go. Until his arrest in 2002, Barghouti was the leader of the Fatah Tanzim terror organization that carried out many of the most murderous attacks of the Second Intifadeh (2000-04). He was convicted of five murders in 2004 and has been in an Israeli prison ever since. Barghouti is also regarded as a rival and possible successor to 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen since he is allegedly even popular among Hamas supporters.

But not all the terrorists are going on strike.
It was previously reported that all prisoners in Hadarim and Nafha prison would join, regardless of their political affiliation, including those affiliated to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), Hamas, and the Islamic Jihad.
However, the left-wing PFLP later said that despite its “appreciation” for Barghouthi, it was not in fact undertaking the hunger strike, because it was organized by Fatah without coordinating with all other Palestinian political factions.
Hopefully, this time, Israel will not force feed the 'prisoners' (as it has been forced to do by its 'Supreme Court' at times in the past). If they want to starve themselves to death, let them. This isn't about prison conditions. It's about politics.

UPDATE 5:24 PM

As usual with the 'Palestinians,' things aren't quite what they seem, as you can see in this series of tweets from Israel Radio's Gal Berger (translation follows).
Marwan Barghouti sent secret messages to the Hamas leadership outside the mail calling on them to pressure Hamas prisoners in jail to join the hunger strike that he plans to lead starting tomorrow.

Hamas announced that it will support the strike and that Hamas prisoners in the Hadarim jail will join it, but did not announce general participation of its prisoners in all prisons in the strike.

Barghouti expects Hamas' leadership to join the strike later after it gathers volume. It's estimated that in the First Phase more than 1,000 prisoners will participate; not all of Fatah's prisoners are participating.

The added emphasis is mine. Note that Hamas is really taking a 'wait and see' attitude, and that not even all of Fatah's terrorists - to whom Barghouti technically belongs - are joining in.

Hmmm.

Krauthammer incinerates Obama's 'shameful legacy'

In the Washington Post, Charles Krauthammer explains what was different about that UN Security Council resolution, and how the Obama administration stabbed Israel in the back by allowing its passage.
An ordinary Israeli who lives or works in the Old City of Jerusalem becomes an international pariah, a potential outlaw. To say nothing of the soldiers of Israel’s citizen army. “Every pilot and every officer and every soldier,” said a confidant of Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, “we are waiting for him at The Hague,” i.e. the International Criminal Court.
Moreover, the resolution undermines the very foundation of a half-century of American Middle East policy. What becomes of “land for peace” if the territories that Israel was to have traded for peace are, in advance, declared to be Palestinian land to which Israel has no claim?
The peace parameters enunciated so ostentatiously by Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday are nearly identical to the Clinton parameters that Yasser Arafat was offered and rejected in 2000 and that Abbas was offered by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in 2008. Abbas, too, walked away.
Kerry mentioned none of this because it undermines his blame-Israel narrative. Yet Palestinian rejectionism works. The Security Council just declared the territories legally Palestinian — without the Palestinians having to concede anything, let alone peace. What incentive do the Palestinians have to negotiate when they can get the terms — and territory — they seek handed to them for free if they hold out long enough?
Indeed. The Post can look back at this column from 2009 and realize that the 'Palestinians' were correct.
Yet on Wednesday afternoon, as he prepared for the White House meeting in a suite at the Ritz-Carlton in Pentagon City, Abbas insisted that his only role was to wait. He will wait for Hamas to capitulate to his demand that any Palestinian unity government recognize Israel and swear off violence. And he will wait for the Obama administration to force a recalcitrant Netanyahu to freeze Israeli settlement construction and publicly accept the two-state formula.

Until Israel meets his demands, the Palestinian president says, he will refuse to begin negotiations. He won't even agree to help Obama's envoy, George J. Mitchell, persuade Arab states to take small confidence-building measures. "We can't talk to the Arabs until Israel agrees to freeze settlements and recognize the two-state solution," he insisted in an interview. "Until then we can't talk to anyone."
And what the Post doesn't mention is that Netanyahu is reported to have offered even more in 2013.

If Hillary Clinton had won November's election, Israel would now have its back to the wall. Fortunately, Donald Trump won the election, and if he is willing to go to the wall in Israel's defense, perhaps this disgraceful resolution can be mitigated.

Read the whole thing.

Hillary Clinton's 'facade of a peace process' would require releasing real terrorists

Shavua tov, a good week to everyone.

The latest Wikileaks email dump discloses that Hillary Clinton believes that a 'facade of a peace process' would be better than no peace process at all.
Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton wrote to her senior advisors, a few days after the Israeli elections, that she believes that a "Potemkin" peace process between Israel and the Palestinians (meaning a peace process that was only for show) was better than no peace process at all, a Clinton campaign email posted on WikiLeaks shows.

On March 23, 2016 at 8:56 P.M. Clinton's senior foreign policy advisor Jake Sullivan emailed Clinton and John Podesta, chairman of her presidential campaign. If Clinton is elected, Sullivan is likely to be appointed White House National Security Advisor. The email sent by Sullivan included a link to a New York Times article discussing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's apology for his Election Day statement that “Arab voters are coming in droves to the ballot boxes." By the link to the article, Sullivan wrote Clinton and Podesta "Unsurprisingly, Pragmatic Bibi makes an appearance."

Seven minutes later Clinton responded positively to Netanyahu's comments quoted in the article. She wrote that Netanyahu's apology was "an opening that should be exploited," and tied it to the promoting of the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians. "A Potemkin process is better than nothing," and referred her advisors to another New York Times article published a few days earlier in which Netanyahu's next moves as prime minister were described.
A 'Potemkin' peace process would not come without cost. Without a price in Jewish blood, the 'Palestinians' won't show up.

We had one of those during the Obama administration. We released 78 terrorists with Jewish blood on their hands to pay for it. It ended badly, with our Defense Minister under attack (and apologizing) for calling US Secretary of State John Kerry a messianic (a fair description especially if you consider this). Thanks, but no thanks.

'Palestinian' terrorist a Hamas member blessed by Hamas, mourned by Abbas' Fatah, and an Israeli citizen to boot

Two victims of this morning's Jerusalem terror attack - apparently a woman in her 60's and a police officer who gave chase - have been pronounced dead. Six other people were wounded, three of them seriously. The terrorist opened fire from a vehicle at the Ammunition Hill tram station, and then tried to escape into the nearby Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
According to an initial police investigation, a terrorist driving in a car came to a nearby junction, opened fire and hit a civilian. The suspect fled the scene, driving in the direction of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood. Police motorcycle forces chased after the suspect's vehicle, stopping him in Sheikh Jarrah. When the terrorist saw the officers, he opened fire in their direction. The officers shot back at the suspect, successfully neutralizing him.

Three others were in moderate condition following the attack. One was taken to Hadassah University Medical Center on Mount Scopus, the second was taken to Hadassah University Medical Center in Ein Kerem while a third was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

An additional three people were lightly wounded, with two of them going to Shaare Zedek and one going to Hadassah's campus on Mount Scopus.
The terrorist is Misab Abu Sbeih, a resident of the Silwan neighborhood just outside Jerusalem's Old City, and a Hamas 'activist.' The picture below is from Hamas' social media.

Abu Sbeih had been banned from the Temple Mount and from Jerusalem as well according to Hamas (link in Hebrew), and on Saturday told the 'Palestinian' news agency Maan that he was going to turn himself in to serve a prison sentence.

Hamas, of course, blessed the terrorist and the attack.

In a notice posted to its Facebook and Twitter pages, the 'moderate' Fatah terrorist organization, headed by 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen has called for a general strike in Jerusalem as a sign of mourning for the terrorist (link in Hebrew). And you thought they were 'rivals'....

The terrorist was indicted last year on 14 counts of incitement to terror and eight counts of supporting a terror organization, although according to Maan, the prison sentence he was to serve stemmed from his assaulting a police officer in 2013.

Given his long arrest record, the investigation will focus on how the terrorist was able to obtain/buy an M-16 rifle.

Unfortunately, terrorism is not dead here in Israel. We live with it daily.

And oh yeah, Abu Sbeih was an Israeli citizen. That's how he got into 'west' Jerusalem in the first place. (The tram station where the attack took place is within 100 meters or so of the site of one of the biggest battles of the Six Day War.

Wealth causes terrorism?

Moadim l'Simcha, a Happy Holiday to all of you.

The 19-year old terrorist who blew up a Jerusalem bus last Monday did not come from an impoverished home. In fact, he lived a life of privilege, much like the Saudi 9/11 terrorists. And that worries the Israeli authorities.
His uncles are prosperous merchants. He did not grow up in a refugee camp. He went on shopping trips to Jordan.
But the cover photo on his Facebook page includes the image of Yahya Ayyash, a.k.a. “The Engineer,” the chief bombmaker for Hamas, who likely was killed by an exploding mobile phone planted by Israeli agents in 1996.
On Monday afternoon, 19-year-old Abdel Hamid Abu Srour boarded the Egged No. 12 bus and placed a package between his legs. His uncles think that it might have been his first visit to Jerusalem.
His seat was above the vehicle’s gas tanks, according to Israeli news media. His relatives scoffed at the idea that Abu Scour would know how to make a bomb himself.
His high school grades were poor enough that he wanted to retake subjects and redo his exams.
Who gave him the bomb and how it was detonated is the object of a fast-moving investigation.
Hamas claimed that Abu Srour was a member of the Islamist militant movement, although the Gaza-based terrorist group did not assert direct responsibility for the bombing.
Israeli police announced Thursday that they had arrested several members of a Hamas cell in Bethlehem tied to the case.
The 'Palestinian Authority' tried to portray Abu Srour as a poor 'refugee.' But that's yet another lie.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health described Abu Srour as a resident of the Aida refugee camp, a tough, politicized neighbourhood of tight, twisting alleys where the walls are painted with murals of the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and covered with the faded posters of dead teenagers hailed as martyrs, killed either attacking Israelis or in clashes with Israeli troops.
But his relatives said Abu Srour was more of a Palestinian preppy, the scion of a well-to-do and well-known clan of eight prosperous brothers, who own and operate a string of furniture outlets and are rich enough to take their young sons for holidays in Jordan and to set them up with their own shops selling clothes.
“We are financially comfortable, you could say very comfortable,” said his uncle Mahmoud Abu Srour, who was gathered with relatives in a courtyard at a family house in Bethlehem awaiting the return of his nephew’s body so they could bury him.
Abu Scour’s teenage cousins listened to their uncles speak but kept silent. They wore pricey watches, skinny jeans and fancy sneakers.
Abu Srour’s father declined to speak on the record. He was exhausted, he said. His family said his DNA was used to identify his son. He said the body was unrecognizable to him.
Earlier in the day, the father denied in an interview with Reuters that his son had any connection to Hamas, which had announced Wednesday that Abu Scour was the bomber and that he was an affiliate of the group.
“I never thought my son would do such an act,” the father said. “My son did not make me feel, even for 1 per cent, that he has feelings or thoughts like that. Never.”
But Abu Srour apparently WAS connected to Hamas and his family didn't totally discourage terrorism. It just tried to keep their children safe.
But on his Facebook page, there is a photo Abu Srour with a Hamas flag. Israeli news media also reported that before he died, Abu Srour had given his mother a photograph of himself wearing a Hamas scarf. The Jerusalem Post reported that Abu Srour’s relatives gave out sweets on the street to celebrate his martyrdom in the bomb blast.
And of course, the family is blaming the victim - Israel.

As if we're the ones who are ambivalent or worse about our children's involvement in terrorism....

Sunday Mail discovers how British tax money is funding 'Palestinian' terrorism

The 'Palestinians' are building the palace above for 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen using £8,000,000 (about $11,310,000) of British aid money, and after visiting the site, London's Sunday Mail Online has finally exposed it.
The shocking revelation that thousands of Palestinian terrorists, including men who have masterminded suicide bombings and murdered children, are given cash handouts from aid money will cause anger and disbelief, particularly in the wake of the Brussels massacres.
Hardly shocking to anyone who reads this blog. (There are many more links where those came from).

In the West Bank and Gaza, despite promises by the ruling Palestinian Authority (PA) to end the practice of paying aid money to convicted terrorists, our investigation revealed that they had simply duped the West by allowing the Palestine Liberation Organisation to hand out the cash instead.
Britain gives £72 million a year to Palestine, more than one-third of which goes straight to the PA. It openly admits supporting terrorists whom it hails as heroes for fighting illegal occupation, awarding lifetime payments that rise depending on time spent in jail and the seriousness of crimes.
One Hamas master bomber has reportedly been given more than £100,000. Other ‘salaries’ go to the families of suicide bombers and even teenagers involved in the latest upsurge of deadly attacks on Israel.
DFID and the European Union are still effectively supporting these payments to thousands of terrorists – despite claims to have ended such links two years ago. This was confirmed to the MoS by former prisoners and families receiving the cash, and in official statements by the PA.
In fact, the 'Palestinians' are the main subject of the Mail's 'expose,' most of which could have been written by combing the archive of this blog and several others.
Ahmad Musa sits beside me, a convicted double murderer sentenced to life in prison. As we talk, I ask him if he did indeed kill the two men. ‘Yes, I shot them dead,’ he replies.
Yet we do not meet in a jail cell. Musa is free, released after just five years. For he is a Palestinian terrorist and he was liberated under a peace deal.
Like thousands more Palestinian prisoners, including jihadi bombers and killers of children, Musa enjoys his freedom after being awarded a ‘salary’ for life.
He gets £605 every month, others get far more. If they die, the cash goes to their family. These men are seen as terrorists, certainly by Israel, and many in the West.
But, astonishingly, the money behind these payments – described by some as ‘rewards for murder’ – flows from British and European taxpayers.
For the record, that 'salary' is about 150% of the average teacher's salary in the 'Palestinian Authority.'
The UK cash comes from the Department for International Development, which will give up to £25.5million this year to the ruling Palestinian Authority (PA) as part of a £72million aid package. Our investigation discovered that the PA passes millions on to the infamous Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO) – which in turn gives it to convicted terrorists locked up in Israeli prisons and their families.

Among them are Amjad and Hakim Awad, cousins who killed Ehud and Ruth Fogel and their three children in their West Bank home in 2011. It is estimated that Amjad alone may have been paid up to £16,000 from the fund so far.
Yes, those are the Fogels HY"D (May God Avenge their blood) in the pictures above. Hakim was 18 and Amjad was 19 when they murdered the Fogels.  Unfortunately, they're unlikely to die the slow and painful deaths they so richly deserve. Instead, they are being supported by British and European taxpayers.

Also on the payroll is Abdallah Barghouti, the Hamas bomb-maker who was sentenced to life after attacks in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. It is thought he has received payments totaling £106,000.
Barghouti prepared the Sbarro suicide bombing (pictured above).
Dfid confirms that the PLO makes such payments, calling them ‘social welfare’ provisions for prisoners’ families.
It denies, however, that any British cash reaches terrorists, with the PLO taking over such payments two years ago from the PA after an international outcry.
But a Mail on Sunday investigation has found that Britain funded the PLO until last year and that the PA openly boasts of still funding salaries of convicted terrorists, even in its own official statements.
Former prisoners and the families of terrorists we have spoken to also confirmed receiving cash from both the PA and the PLO.
British aid money is supposed to be rebuilding and developing the Palestinian territories. However a devastating new report to be released this week by Palestinian Media Watch, an Israeli NGO, suggests that Western donors have been duped by assertions that the Authority no longer funds terrorists.
Some Hamas terrorist masterminds have reportedly been given more than £100,000.
Other ‘salaries’ go to relatives of suicide bombers and even teenagers involved in the latest upsurge of deadly attacks on Israel. Several ex-prisoners confirmed to me that they were paid monthly stipends that started in jail.
One said they also received a ‘bonus’ on leaving prison and lucrative civil service job offers, the most senior posts going to those serving more than 15 years behind bars, even though they are not qualified.
PA officials openly defend such stipends. Amr Nasser, adviser to the minister of social affairs, said: ‘It is not a crime to be fighting occupation. These people are heroes.
‘We could be giving them much more money and it would not be enough.’ Nasser added that, if Palestine won independence, the government would seek reparations from Britain for its historic role in encouraging Zionism, saying ‘You should pay us more money.’
Cash is fungible.

There is no difference between the 'Palestinian Authority' and the PLO. It's a shell game.

And lest you think the Mail actually gets that they're doing something wrong other than wasting British taxpayer money... they don't.
The four million Palestinians living under Israeli occupation in the West Bank and Gaza receive the highest aid support per head in the world. Few would deny they face unique problems given checkpoints, tough crackdowns and disputed settlements.
Their 'unique problems' are entirely of their own making. They could have had a peace agreement 22 years ago and more. They didn't want one.

I don't buy the claim made throughout this article that the 'Palestinians' are 'fooling' the West. They're not. Itamar Marcus, the author of the report on which the part of this article that deals with the 'Palestinians' is based, agrees.
Itamar Marcus, the report’s author, said: ‘There is wilful blindness by the UK and EU, who were happy not to even carry out the simplest investigation.’
Indeed.

But what's most astounding about this article is that it was supposed to be a report on how British foreign aid is wasted in general. There are about two paragraphs about other places in the world, and much, much more about the 'Palestinians,' who are Europe's (and Britain's) pet project. You don't think that has anything to do with rampant anti-Semitism in Britain and Europe, do you?

Read the whole thing.

40-year old terror victim pulls knife out of neck, stabs and neutralizes terrorist - UPDATED with more video WARNING GRAPHIC

A 40-year old ultra-Orthodox Jew in Petach Tikva pulled a knife out of his own neck this afternoon and stabbed and killed the 'Palestinian' terrorist who had stabbed him.

Let's go to the videotape. More after the video.

The Palestinian assailant had followed the man, who was collecting money for charity, into a wine shop on the central city’s Baron Hirsch Street and began stabbing him “multiple times” in the upper body in a “frenzied attack,” police said.
At one point, the victim managed to break away and fled the store, while the owner of the store hit the attacker and tried to subdue him, police said. The victim then returned to the store, pulled the knife out of his own neck, and stabbed his attacker.
Initial reports had said the stabbing may have occurred during an altercation; however, the incident was later confirmed by police as a terror attack.
Magen David Adom paramedics said they treated the victim at the scene before taking him to the city’s Beilinson Hospital.
Here's video of the Petach Tikva terrorist on the ground. WARNING - GRAPHIC.

Let's go to the videotape.

Ten other terror victims were not as lucky this evening in Tel Aviv. They were all stabbed by another 'Palestinian' terrorist on Tel Aviv's beach promenade before the terrorist was shot and killed by police. One victim - an American tourist - has died of his wounds.
An American tourist was killed and at least 10 people were injured Tuesday evening when a Palestinian man carried out a stabbing spree in Jaffa. Five of the injured were described as being in critical condition.
The terrorist stabbed his victims in at least three locations in an attack that lasted some 20 minutes, reports said.
The attacker was shot dead by police after a chase from the Jaffa Port along the Tel Aviv beach promenade. Police said he was a 21-year-old man from the West Bank Palestinian refugee camp in Qalqiliya.
...
The Wolfson Medical Center in Tel Aviv confirmed one victim, a 29-year-old American tourist, arrived at the hospital dead, and one other was being treated in the trauma unit in critical condition. The tourist’s wife was severely injured in the attack, according to Zaki Heller, spokesperson for the Magen David Adom ambulance service.
Tel Aviv’s Ichilov Hospital said it received six victims, one in critical condition, two in moderate condition and two suffering from lighter wounds. The hospital’s medical director confirmed that one of the victims was a pregnant woman. Another of the victims was an Arab Israeli — Jaffa is a mixed city with a sizable Arab population — and one a Palestinian man who was residing in Israel illegally, police reported.
Waiting to hear if the United Nations 'human rights council' calls the Petach Tikva victim's response 'disproportionate.'

Two police officers were also shot in the head in a drive-by shooting by a 'Palestinian' terrorist outside the Old City of Jerusalem's Damascus Gate. One of those officers is in critical condition.

UPDATE 11:18 PM

For those who speak Hebrew, here is an interview with 39-year old Yonatan Ezrihab from Yavneel (a small village on the Western part of the Galilee in which Mrs. Carl and I have stayed a couple of times). Ezrihab is a father of five children and he was the one who pulled the knife out of his own neck and stabbed the terrorist in Petach Tikva today.

Let's go to the videotape.

Another proud 'Palestinian' parent

Meet 16-year old Morad Bader Abdullah Adais, whose father in the 'Palestinian' village of Dura is gushing with pride this week. Why? Stephen Flatow - himself the father of a terror victim - reports that the senior Adais' pride is because his son murdered 39-year old Dafna Meir in front of her children.

But Adais' pride is not an exception in 'Palestinian' society. It's the rule. (In fact, if anything is the exception, it's the fact that Adais was taken alive after the attack).
Advocates of the Palestinian cause are always telling us that ordinary Palestinians are just like ordinary folks everywhere. They say Palestinian moms and dads have the same concerns as moms and dads in America, Israel, and anyplace else.
Then-president Bill Clinton epitomized this attitude when he met with Israeli parents of terror victims on Dec. 15, 1998, and then traveled to Gaza to meet with Palestinian parents of imprisoned terrorists. The president told reporters: “If I had met them in reverse order, I would not have known which ones were Israeli and which Palestinian.”
Even back then, the president should have been able to tell the difference. The Israeli parents were the ones mourning the deaths of their innocent children. The Palestinian parents were the ones cheering on their children for murdering the Israeli children.
The problem is not just individual Palestinian parents endorsing their children’s terrorism. The problem is that the official Palestinian leadership actively encourages such attitudes. Consider how the PA’s Minister of Women’s Affairs, Haifa Al-Agha, recently explained the “uniqueness” of Palestinian women: “The Palestinian women’s uniqueness differentiates her from the women of the world, as [only] she receives the news of her son’s Martyrdom with cries of joy.”
Her statement appeared in the official daily newspaper of the “moderate” PA, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, on Nov. 7, 2015. Such declarations appear in the official PA news media every day. They send a very specific message to the Palestinian public; and it’s clear that the message has been received, loud and clear.
As much as we wish that the Palestinians were moderate, reasonable people who hate violence and terrorism and would live in peace with Israel if they were just given a state of their own, they keep demonstrating, through their words and deeds, exactly the opposite.
Keep that in mind the next time someone tells you that the key to peace in the Middle East is a 'Palestinian state.'

By the way, it turns out that Dafna Meir saved her children's lives as she was dying. She prevented the terrorist from pulling the knife out of her body and using it to stab her children.  She was a true heroine.

Here's hoping this one will not be rebuilt and that all that money will go to waste.

Hassan Nasrallah pays a shiva call... to a 'Palestinian' terrorist's father

Shavua Tov and a good week to everyone from New York City (okay, one of the boroughs).

Hezbullah chieftain Hassan Nasrallah paid a shiva (condolence) call by phone on Saturday to the family of Asharqat Katani. Katani was a 16-year old 'Palestinian' terrorist who was neutralized after attempting to stab Israelis at a hitchhiking post in Samaria this past week.
According to the Hezbollah-affiliated satellite television station Al-Meyadeen, Nasrallah told the woman's father that his daughter reminded the Lebanese Shi'ite leader of his son, Hadi, who was killed in battle with IDF soldiers in Lebanon in 1997.

A portion of the conversation between Nasrallah and the Palestinian father was aired on Al-Meyadeen. At the end of their phone call, Nasrallah asked if there was anything he could do for the family.

The father responded that he would be pleased if Nasrallah mentioned his daughter's name during his next speech. The Hezbollah leader agreed to do so.
Too bad Nasrallah did not offer to resettle the family in Lebanon.

Video: Police officer being run over by 'Palestinian' terrorist, now in serious condition

Here is shocking video of a 'Palestinian' running into a group of people who included an Israeli police officer outside of Hebron about three hours ago.

The police officer was seriously wounded in the incident, which was obviously deliberate.

Let's go to the videotape.
Hopefully someone had the presence of mind to 'neutralize' the 'Palestinian.'

'Palestinians' torch Joseph's Tomb, CNN headline claims tomb spontaneously catches fire - UPDATED

At the beginning of the Oslo war (on Rosh HaShanna), a 'Palestinian' mob attacked Joseph's tomb and destroyed it. An IDF soldier, Mahdat Yusuf, bled to death in that attack. Ehud Barak was the Prime Minister (and Defense Minister) then and refused to let the IDF go in to rescue the soldiers who were trapped there. Former IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz was the Judea and Samaria commander at the time. The tomb was closed for nearly ten years after that incident, and was officially reopened in 2010.

Around 5:00 am on Friday, 'Palestinian' terrorists torched the tomb - now under 'Palestinian' control with access supposedly guaranteed to Jews - once again.
According to available details about the Joseph's Tomb incident, at around 5 a.m. Friday some 100 Palestinians rioted outside the compound and at some point began hurling firebombs onto the premises, setting the main access to the tomb, its courtyard and part of the building on fire.
Defense officials told Channel 2 News that Palestinian security forces were able to extinguish the flames and disperse the riot by the time Israeli forces had arrived.
A second, smaller riot, erupted when Israeli security forces arrived at the holy site.
Rioters pelted the troops with rocks and threw firebombs at their vehicles. The soldiers use crowd control measures to disperse the riot.
Security forces have remained on the premises to prevent Palestinian rioters from vandalizing the site further.
Joseph's Tomb is under the Palestinian security forces' control. Jewish prayer in the compound is allowed, but worshippers are required to coordinate their visits with the military, which escorts them in and out of the area.
Jewish access to the compound is often restricted for security reasons.
Following the incident, Lt. Col. Peter Lerner of the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, tweeted, "IDF will bring perpetrators to justice, restore the site & ensure that freedom of worship returns to Joseph's Tomb."
Even UPI's headline said that the tomb had been set on fire by 'Palestinians.' But not CNN's. Their headline reads: Joseph's Tomb site catches fire in spate of Palestinian-Israeli violence. That's right, it just 'caught fire' (was it reaching up to catch it?) spontaneously. And it was in a spate of 'Palestinian'-Israeli violence - note that in the Yisrael HaYom account quoted above, there were no Israelis at the tomb when the 'Palestinians' set it on fire - the IDF arrived later.

Here's CNN's report, which is only slightly better.

Let's go to the videotape.

And the written report is not much better.
Fire broke out at the compound housing Joseph's Tomb overnight, a religious site venerated by Jews, the Israel Defense Forces said. Palestinian forces dispersed alleged Palestinian arsonists and put out the fire.
Unless you get to the second sentence, you might think there was a gas leak or an electrical failure. The initial report is 'fire broke out.' I have to wonder whether the words 'dispersed illegal Palestinian arsonists' were added later because other people saw the report.

CNN lies.

UPDATE 3:49 PM

I meant to add this, which I received by email:
Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria Regional Council: "As a Jew I must voice my deep shock over this terrible act. I believe that there's nobody from the free world who would not see this act as barbaric and criminal. To set on fire one of the holiest sites of the Jewish people - A historical asset to the whole world!

"This is the barbarity of the Palestinian Authority and the person heading it. Another act that proves that we cannot rely on this 'partner'. I call on the Prime Minister to immediately bring back IDF forces to Joseph's Tomb, because it's clear that if he doesn't, there will be nobody to guard this inalienable asset for us. Again, the responsibility belongs to Abu Mazen, the Holocaust denier, and he has to answer for it.

"Leaders of the enlightened world: Where are your condemnations??? John Kerry, Ban Ki Moon, Mogrini - such a gang of hypocrites! What would you have done if an important Islamic mosque were burned down? You should be ashamed of yourselves!!!

"In the face of such Arab barbarity in Shechem and the political hypocrisy overseas, I call on the Prime Minister to order IDF forces to return Israeli control to Joseph's Tomb (something that is called for even in the accursed Oslo accords).

The cat cannot guard the cream! He'll burn it!

Only the IDF can protect this holy site. We must put an end to this disgrace. This is the only real and correct response - THIS VERY MORNING is the time!
Indeed.

Abu Mazen lies, the video proves it

Watch 13 year old Ahmed Mansra, who stabbed and seriously wounded two Israelis this week in Jerusalem, thus disputing Palestinian Abbas claim that he was executed.

Haddassah Ein Karem hospital updated that his condition is improving and he will be released from the hospital in the next few days.

Let's go to the videotape.

His parents ought to be charged with something.

And the Obama administration ought to (but won't) reconsider whether 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen, who issues statements accusing Israel of executing children as a means of orchestrating more violence is really worthy of being a partner in peace.

Shocking video of one of today's terror attacks in Jerusalem

It's been a difficult, painful day here in Jerusalem, as we have gone back into intifada mode (2000-04).

Here's video of one of today's terror attacks in the city. This took place at a bus stop on Malchei Yisrael Street in the city's Geula neighborhood - a major thoroughfare that I usually walk down at least once a week. In fact, at least two of my children were there yesterday!

Let's go to the videotape.

The terrorist - like all of the terrorists involved in today's five terror attacks around the country - was an Arab resident of 'east' Jerusalem, which means that he could roam around freely without hitting any army checkpoints. He was an employee of Bezeq, Israel's national phone carrier, and used his company-issued truck to carry out the attack. His job at Bezeq? Repairing home phone lines.

There is now talk of placing checkpoints outside Arab neighborhoods to prevent terrorists from leaving or imposing a curfew on them altogether.

Last night, I had to take (because we are trying to minimize bus trips - there was a bus attacked today as well) one of my children to a place near where there were two terror attacks during the day yesterday. There were police on every corner and that is likely to be supplemented with army units. That is why police have been on the scene of each attack quickly and casualties have been minimized.

The good news is that the security forces believe that the attacks were coordinated, which would mean that these are not lone wolves and that there is a terror cell behind them that can be broken.

Keep praying for us - living like this is quite stressful....
