Celebrate! United Nations celebrates 65 years of Hamas' arms supplier (with video)
As you might recall, last summer UNRWA - the agency that is supposed to resettle 'Palestinian refugees' and instead has perpetuated their 'refugee status' for the last 65 years - was caught hidingdiscoveredrocketshidden in its schools in Gaza, and explosives booby-trapped into those schools' walls. On Tuesday, a high-level United Nations meeting celebrated all that UNRWA has done for 'Palestinian refugees' (Hat Tip: Bad Blue).
On June 2, 2015, the UN held a full-day high-level conference honoring
the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the
Near East (UNRWA) on its 65th anniversary. UNRWA Commissioner General
Pierre Krähenbühl used the occasion to commend himself for UNRWA's
performance under his leadership. He made no mention of the findings of
the UN Secretary General's own Board of Inquiry that UNRWA failed to
secure weapons in their schools and even gave weapons back to Hamas -
thereby facilitating the commission of war crimes.
The meeting consisted of a day of hate speech and blood libels directed at the UN member state of Israel.
Indeed it did. Here are some of the highlights. Let's go to the videotape.
And if you're an American taxpayer, you paid for at least 22% of this celebration. So why isn't anyone speaking out against this?
Hamas Vice Chairman's sister being treated at Israeli hospital
The sister of Hamas politburo Vice Chairman Moussa Abu Marzouk is being treated in an Israel hospital. Earlier, it was disclosed that the daughter of Hamas 'Prime Minister' Ismail Haniyeh was also being treated at another Israeli hospital.
Halamia Shcata, 60, is suffering from cancer and has been hospitalized
in Israel on a number of occasions in the past. Shcata is in critical
condition.
The Coordinator of Government Activities in the
Territories did not confirm the report, but stressed that Israel
approves the entry each week of a number of people from Gaza and the
West Bank according to humanitarian needs. The cases are tested on an
individual basis by need without regard to family connections, the COGAT
added.
Marzouk accused Israel on Sunday
of violating the cease-fire that ended Operation Protective Edge in
August by closing border crossings into Gaza in response to rocket fire
over the weekend.
What they're not telling you is that it's likely they're being treated for free. I wonder why she's not being treated in a 'Palestinian' hospital.
New details have emerged about the booby-trapped clinic explosion that killed three IDF Maglan unit soldiers in Gaza earlier this week - Sergeant
First Class Matan Gottlieb, 21, from Rishon LeZion; Sergeant First
Class Omar Chai, 21, from Savion; and Sergeant First Class Guy Algranati, 20, of Tel Aviv, hy"d.
Over eighty kilograms of explosives were built into the UN-funded
hospital's walls themselves, it was cleared for publication Thursday -
revealing that the clinic itself was built to mask, and perform,
potential acts of terror on the IDF.
Moreover, the clinic was built over tens of terror tunnels, according to the report.
How could Hamas have gotten rockets into an UNRWA school and explosives into a health clinic without the people in charge knowing? They couldn't.
Someone 'discovered' today that Hamas controls the UNRWA employee union. That's been true since 2009. It's therefore not surprising that Hamas is allowed to do whatever it wants with UNRWA facilities.
But for some reason, no one outside of Israel (or at least no one in the media) seems to get that.

Background Information – Al-Wafa Hospital
Al-Wafa hospital, located near Shajuayia in Gaza City, is a Hamas military
compound.
The hospital housed a Hamas command and control center, and was utilized to
direct and supervise the ongoing battles in the area. Among the hospital
grounds, there was a lookout post, used to gather intelligence and monitor
IDF forces activities in order to carry out attacks.
In addition, there were several access shafts to the Hamas tunnel network from within
the
hospital.
On July 22, 2014, at the request of the IDF, the hospital was evacuated from
patients and staff, and continued to be occupied by Hamas gunmen, that
continued to fire at the IDF forces.
On July 21, 2014, the head of the Israeli Coordination and Liaison
Administration (CLA) with Gaza confirmed with the Head of the WHO (World
Health Organization) in Gaza that he has informed the hospital manager three
times, that the premises should be vacated. The head of the WHO stated that
the hospital manager declared there were no patients or staff in the
hospital, and that the building is empty. This was confirmed by the Gaza CLA
on July 23, 2014.
Attached is footage of the IAF strike carried out earlier today [July 23] at terror
targets in the site. Secondary explosions are visible in the footage,
indicating an extensive amount of weaponry stored.
And again: Hamas leadership hiding in basement of Shifa Hospital
As in 2009, Hamas is using Shifa Hospital to hide its leadership, and as in 2012, it is using the hospital as part of its war effort (link in Hebrew) (Hat Tip: Shaul). This one is only three short paragraphs, so I will translate it and then ask a question.
A journalist source who is close to security sources in the Middle East says 'Hamas' leadership is taking advantage of the underground structures underneath the Shifa Central Hospital in Gaza as a hideout for commanders and Hamas leaders to protect them against attack by the Israel Air Force.
"In the ongoing battle between Hamas and the Israeli army," the source further related, "Hamas leaders aren't just using the underground facility at Shifa Hospital as a hideout, but also as a command center for Hamas' leaders and commanders, and from here all orders are issued to Hamas activists in the field. Shifa Hospital, which is in the Rimal district in Gaza, is one of the main absorption centers for treating the sick and wounded in Gaza."
Ironically, in 1980, Israel helped renovate Shifa Hospital in an effort to improve relations with the 'Palestinians.' Part of the Israeli renovation included a large underground basement, which includes offices and hospital rooms to absorb the wounded. Until 1940, the facility was a medical base for the British army, until 1950 when the Egyptians, who then ruled the Gaza Strip, turned it into a hospital. According to the source, "during an emergency you can enter the facility through hidden, underground tunnels, which are hundreds of meters away from the facility."
Many years ago, I had a beehive in front of my house in New Jersey. To get rid of the bees, I waited until nightfall, sprayed the entrance to the beehive with alcohol, and then set it on fire. The bees were forced out in the dark and were unable to return.
Did we build these tunnels or did the 'Palestinians'? Do we know where the entrances are? (If we built them, then obviously we do). If yes, why aren't we closing off those entrances so that the only way out is if they come out the front door, where they can be picked off like low-hanging fruit? You know, flush them out like the bees....
The 'Palestinians' have expanded the war between Hamas and Fatah to a new front: Hospitals and medical supplies. It seems that the two of them are keeping treatment and supplies from each other, and that many 'Palestinians' have died as a result. Of course, since Israel has nothing to do with this, the world couldn't care less.
Until recently, the two governments used to blame Israel for the shortage of various types of medicine in the Gaza Strip: spokesmen for the Hamas and Fatah governments claimed that the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip was depriving the ill of many badly-needed medicines.
This week, the two rival Palestinian governments held each other -- not Israel -- responsible for the health crisis in the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian government in the West Bank, headed by Prime Minister Salam Fayyad, announced that Hamas had been stealing or hiding most of the medicine that was sent to the Gaza Strip. Many Palestinians are believed to have died because of the lack of drugs and medical equipment.
According to the Fayyad government, Hamas militiamen have been confiscating shipments of medical supplies donated by the international communities and later offering the medical supplies for sale.
The medical supplies are sent first to the West Bank, where the Fayyad government is responsible for distributing them to Palestinians, including those living in the Gaza Strip.
Some Palestinians residents of the Gaza Strip and Western aid workers have confirmed the Fayyad government's allegations, saying that Hamas has indeed been confiscating most of the medical supplies that are sent from the West Bank – putting the lives of many patients at risk.
Hamas, for its part, has retorted by leveling similar charges against the Fayyad government. According to Hamas spokesmen, if anyone is to blame for the severe crisis in the Gaza Strip's hospitals and clinics it is the Fayyad government.
Hamas claims that the Fayyad government has been using the medicine to "blackmail" Palestinians in the Gaza Strip in a bid to undermine the Islamic movement's regime.
A spokesman for the Hamas-controlled Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip accused Fayyad and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas of using medical supplies as a tool to fight Hamas and punish Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Palestinians have paid a heavy price because of the continued power struggle between their two governments – a dispute that has claimed the lives of hundreds of Palestinians over the past three and a half years.
And now, we can add hospitals as another front in the Fatah/Hamas war. But give them a 'state' and they'll magically stop fighting.
