Sabbath music video

The Sabbath music video is a bit early tonight because there is another post going up at exactly the moment the Sabbath starts here in Boston.

This is Ovadia Hamama, Yitzik Eshel and 'Heaven and Earth' singing Ana b'Koach, a Kabbalistic prayer that we say just before the main part of the welcoming the Sabbath service.

Sabbath music video

I'd like to wish longtime Israel Matzav reader Debbie R and her husband Hal a hearty Mazal Tov on Akiva's engagement to Tzivya A. We only go back about 40 years.... May this be a binyan adei ad (a permanent building) and may the young couple be privileged to build a bayis ne'eman b'Yisrael (a faithful house of Israel).

Here's Ovadia Hamama singing Ana b'Koach (Please with strength), which is said on Friday nights (among other times).
