The Samaria Revenants Committee has put out a video attacking Israel's Left as collaborators with European (neo) Nazis.
Let's go to the videotape.
Does it go too far? Let's just say that one of the reasons it has caused such an uproar here is that there is a lot of truth to the accusations.... Note that the coin being flipped to each collaborator is a Euro and the Europeans heavily fund Israel's Leftist NGO's.
But I have to say that the Left has gone way out of line in response, accusing the Prime Minister of being behind the video. The revenants are nearly as critical of Netanyahu as they are of the Left.
They are among France’s darkest days: Police dragged over 13,000 Jews
from their homes, confined them in a Paris cycling stadium with little
food or water, and then deported them to their deaths in the
concentration camp at Auschwitz. But even in France, one of the most
brazen collaborations between authorities and the Nazis during World War
II is unknown to many in the younger generation.
Police are hoping to change that, opening up their archives on
France’s biggest single deportation of French Jews for the first time to
the public on Thursday.
The often chilling records are being exhibited in the Paris Jewish
district’s city hall to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the
two-day “Vel d’Hiv” roundup, named for the Velodrome d’Hiver, or Winter
Velodrome. Many thousands were rounded up on July 16 and 17, 1942, then
holed up in miserable conditions in the stadium, just a stone’s throw
from the Eiffel Tower, before being bused to the French camp at Drancy
and then taken by train to Auschwitz.
Tallies list the daily count of men, women and children detained,
alongside stark black and white photographs of deportees. A registry of
those forced to wear the yellow star and a Jewish census show how police
knew who to take. Meticulous handwritten lists detail personal
possessions handed over to police. Others list the value of property,
such as jewelry, confiscated — often forcibly — during the deportation.
President Obama issued a proclamation in honor of Jewish history month. That would be the same event at which Helen Thomas suggested two years ago that Jews should leave Israel and go back to Germany.
President Obama's proclamation, issued earlier this week, included the following.
The official releasewhich praises Jewish contributions to American society includes the following statement, “Their history of unbroken perseverance and their belief in tomorrow’s promise offers a lesson not only to Jewish Americans, but to all Americans. From Aaron Copland to Albert Einstein, Gertrude Stein to Justice Louis Brandeis.”
Stein, who’s exhibition currently on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, was strongly criticized by Harvard Law Professor in an Algemeiner column yesterday, where he wrote, “Gertrude Stein was herself a major collaborator with the Vichy regime and a supporter of its pro-Nazi leadership.”
Dershowitz adds further, “Stein’s closest friend, and a man who greatly influenced her turn toward fascism was Bernard Fay, who the Vichy government put in charge of hunting down Masons, Jews and other perceived enemies of the State. Fay was more than a mere collaborator as suggested by the Met exhibit. He was a full blown Nazi operative, responsible for the deaths of many people. After the war, when the horrendous results were known to all, Gertrude wrote in support of Fay when he was placed on trial for his Nazi war crimes.”
You would think that especially in an election year, having messed up so royally, the White House would at least have the decency to apologize and replace Stein with an accomplished American Jew who wasn't a kapo. You'd be wrong.
The White House said that the initial statement was issued 'in error.' And they seem to have a problem finding another accomplished Jew.
The new release, dated May 2nd, omits the reference to Stein and the other Jewish Americans originally mentioned. The corrected paragraph reads, “Their history of unbroken perseverance and their belief in tomorrow’s promise offers a lesson not only to Jewish Americans, but to all Americans. Generations of Jewish Americans have brought to bear some of our country’s greatest achievements and forever enriched our national life.”
As of the publication of this update, the White House website, whitehouse.gov still carries the original version of the proclamation that includes the mention of Stein.
And when American Jews see this sort of thing, what do they think? That all is forgiven because Obama is pro-abortion? What a sorry bunch....

Elder notes that the part of Abu Mazen's speech where he praised the Mufti are only on the Arabic web site and not on the English one (I'm sure you're all shocked). Perhaps someone could provide the Arabic text to President Obama, who fancies himself as someone who understands Arabic, and Obama can ask Abu Mazen about it the next time he sees him.
