You call this a blockade? A blockade? You're telling me that the 'Palestinians' in Gaza are suffering and that they desperately need humanitarian aid? I'll tell you that if that's true, it's their own fault. Not only has Israel decided to let in just about anything the 'Palestinians' want, it has also decided to let them export - via Israel - anything they want except terrorists.
Let's go to the videotape.
Of course, you won't read about this in the New York Times. But you can read more about it here.
Gaza exporting flowers, strawberries and peppers to Europe
Gaza exported nine truckloads of flowers and strawberries and a truckload of peppers to Europe on Sunday.
I trust that these items will be specially marked in Europe's finest supermarkets so that all the 'Palestinian' sympathizersJew haters who normally concern themselves with boycotting Israel will be able to identify and buy them.
Besides, that will help isolate the cause when they come down with dysentery from eating produce that was grown with polluted water.
I am an Orthodox Jew - some would even call me 'ultra-Orthodox.' Born in Boston, I was a corporate and securities attorney in New York City for seven years before making aliya to Israel in 1991 (I don't look it but I really am that old :-). I have been happily married to the same woman for thirty-five years, and we have eight children (bli ayin hara) ranging in age from 13 to 33 years and nine grandchildren. Four of our children are married! Before I started blogging I was a heavy contributor on a number of email lists and ran an email list called the Matzav from 2000-2004.
