'Palestinians' march with AK-47's and M-16's in Jerusalem
Terrorists from the Democratic Front for the Liberation of 'Palestine' marched in Abu Dis on Saturday brandishing AK-47 and M-16 automatic rifles. While outside the 'security fence,' Abu Dis is no more than a stone's throw away from the Mount Scopus campus of Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Dozens of Palestinians were seen brandishing AK-47 and M16 semiautomatic
rifles as well as hand grenades and pistols while clad in military
gear, according to Israel Radio. A number of shots were fired in the air
during the festivities.
In recent months, Palestinians have increasingly been displaying
firearms out in the open, particularly in the refugee camps of the West
Bank, this after years in which the Palestinian Authority banned the
practice.
The sight of Palestinians openly and brazenly brandishing firearms in
open throughout PA-ruled areas has gradually returned to the landscape,
particularly in areas like the Balata, Dheishe, and the Jalazone refugee
camps, according to Israel Radio. Witnesses said that armed gunmen from
Hamas and Islamic Jihad have also started to make public appearances in
the Jenin refugee camp.
Unlike those areas, however, Abu Dis in in Area B, which means that
security responsibility for the region falls on Israel’s shoulders.

Here's Israel's and US Secretary of State John Kerry's 'peace partner' in action. 'Moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud AbbasAbu Mazen just gave a 'star of honor' to Nayef Hawatmeh of the 'Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine.'
In a ceremony broadcast on Palestinian television and also posted on
Abbas's Yuutube channel, Nayef Hawatmeh, the leader of the Democratic
Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) was awarded the Star of
Honour, in recognition, a Palestinian official present at the ceremeny
said, for:
"...his important national role in service of the Palestinian cause and
the Palestinian people, and in recognition of his efforts to raise the
flag of Palestine since the launch of the Palestinian revolution,
through the stages of the ongoing struggle".
The move will cause consternation in Washington, where Congress has
long criticised the Palestinian Authority over incitiment and the
glorification of terrorists. The Obama administration is unlikely to be
much happier as this comes just days after Secretary of State John Kerry
left the region saying he was positive about the prospects for peace.

"The DFLP has carried out many deadly terror attacks, including the
killing of 22 schoolchildren and 4 adults after taking them hostage in
Ma'alot, the killing of 9 children and 3 adults in an attack on a school
bus, the killing of 7 in a Jerusalem bombing, the killing of 4 hostages
in an apartment building in Beit Shean, all of which took place in the
1970's.
"In addition, the DFLP has participated in and claimed responsibility
for dozens of other terror attacks, including a suicide bombing near Tel
Aviv that killed 4 in 2003."
Abbas, widely billed as a moderate, has a long track record of honouring terrorists.
Last week, official Palestinian Authority TV repeatedly broadcast video tributes to terrorists from the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP). The tributes included glorification of the terrorist "Martyrs," as well as their many terror attacks, in which dozens of Israeli civilians were murdered. Palestinian Media Watch reported last year that PA TV ran similar videos honoring DFLP terrorists.
PA TV glorified the Ma'alot massacre in which school children were taken hostage. 22 of them were murdered along with four adults. A poster honoring the three DFLP terrorists was shown during the video tributes (see right), in addition to posters glorifying dozens of other terrorists and their murders of civilians.
The PA TV tributes were in honor of the anniversary of the founding of the DFLP and were broadcast more than 10 times last week.
A collage labeled "Heroes of the special operations in northern Palestine" showed 16 photographs of DFLP terrorists posing with weapons and some dressed in military uniforms. The term "operations in northern Palestine" is a euphemism for 'terror attacks in northern Israel,' which originated in Lebanon.
The terror attacks DFLP carried out in northern Israel include:
-The 1970 attack on a school bus near the town of Avivim in which 9 children and 3 adults were killed;
-The 1974 attack in the town of Ma'alot in which 22 children and 4 adults were killed, when terrorists took them hostage in a school.
-A 1974 attack in the city of Beit Shean in which 4 civilians were killed.
-A 1979 bomb attack in the city of Tiberias in which 2 civilians were killed.
It's now been confirmed that one 'Palestinian' was killed and another was seriously wounded when they were hit by IAF fire as they were about to launch a rocket into Israel from southern Gaza. The terrorists were from the Democratic Front for the Liberation of 'Palestine.'
Another 'Palestinian' terrorist in training blew up in the Gaza Strip on Thursday morning.
The armed wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine said one of the group's fighters was killed Thursday morning, when an explosive device detonated while the young man was on a "jihad mission," a statement said.
It is the second accidental death of a Gaza resistance fighter reported in as many days, following the death of an Al-Qassam brigadesman in Khan Younis on Wednesday.
A DFLP statement said National Resistance Brigades fighter Khader Abu Elbeh, 22, was seriously wounded during an operation west of the Jabaliya area in the northern Gaza Strip and later died of his injuries.
Medical sources in Gaza confirmed that a man was pronounced dead after being seriously wounded by a bomb which exploded, apparently prematurely.
In their statement, the NRB mourned the death of the fighter, saying he was killed while "on a jihad mission," and vowed to continue resistance activities as a "goal and a promise to our nation."
