Bill Maher, who donated $1 million to the Obama reelection campaign, told HBO on Friday that Chuck Hagel is right: Israel really does control the State Department.

Among the many harmful things Barack Hussein Obama has done to the United States and the West over the last four years, one of the most harmful is his degradation of the United States' military capabilities and his erosion of the doctrine of American exceptionalism. Is Bill Maher pro-Israel?

Reader Mike P sent me this video of Bill Maher with an argument that Maher is pro-Israel.

I live in Israel, do not watch American television, and have no way of judging whether that assertion is correct, and whether this video is typical.

The other thing Mike P wrote is that the contraception controversy is the kiss of death for getting Jews to vote Republican. That may well be true, but I doubt those Jews would have voted Republican anyway.
