He Who Stands with us through the generations

It has been a crazy day....

I want to wish you all a happy and Kosher Passover and leave you with this classic video of v'Hi She'Amda (He Who Stands with us through the generations).

Let's go to the videotape.

Have a wonderful holiday everyone. Since there's only one day in Israel on which it's forbidden to do work, I will be back tomorrow night, God willing.

I set my place here in the study hall

On Thursday, one of my sons came home and told me that he had bought a used MP-3 from a friend. The friend left a couple of songs on it, and one of them was a song by Aaron Razel that he really liked, and perhaps I had heard it.

Yes, I heard it. I even posted it when it first came out. It's called Ani Kavati et Moshavi Po b'Beit HaMidrash (I set my place here in the study hall). Here it is again.

Let's go to the videotape.

Shabbat Shalom everyone.

Overnight music video

I went to a Torah class tonight and one of the things the rabbi said was that there is no mitzva to drink on Purim except during the festive meal. Just so you all know...

Aaron Razel with Chaya Inish l'Ibsumei (A person must drink).

Here are Yitzchak Miller and Aaron Razel singing Kah Echsof, which is sung by some Hassidim at the Sabbath table.

And it's a beautiful video too and some of it has English subtitles.
