Not Charlie Hebdo

You would think that all the journalists in the world would be rallying around Charlie Hebdo. In fact, you think they would have done so 2-3 years ago when Charlie Hebdo was first attacked. But aside from much of the mainstream media, which won't publish anything 'offensive' to Muslims (but will publish other offensive stuff), there is a special category for al-Jazeera. According to leaked emails from al-Jazeera's English side, the broadcaster has made it quite clear that it is NOT Charlie Hebdo (Hat Tip: Memeorandum).

I think it's time for the West to think long and hard as to whether it ought to be getting its news from an obviously biased network like al-Jazeera. Yes, CNN, MSNBC and all the other are biased, but al-Jazeera seems to be in a category all by itself that hasn't been seen before outside the Middle East. They are constitutionally incapable of recognizing and condemning Islamic terrorism.

And yes, I'm having problems cutting and pasting again....
