All I can think when I see that is imagining an officer calling out "Quick! They need back up!" and a fellow in a shtreimel the color of the backpack runs up and starts studying it...

Though somewhat less effective than crew-served weapons such as the Ark of the Covenant the Combat Torah is much easier to move around.
