Flashback: [Then] Defense Minister Ehud Barak: 'Restraint is strength'
DM Ehud Barak told Israel Radio that restraint is strength and those wanting absolute quiet should move to Finland. DM Barak said Israel would act to bring down the Hamas regime in Gaza and when necessary and such action would require retaking the Gaza Strip.Let's go to the videotape.

And what did Yitchak Shamir say when the Iraqi Scuds were hitting Israel and Israel refused to respond?
The problem is not specifically Ehud Barak, nor Israel's Labor Party alone, nor just the "left".
