Yes, that's the rocket that just landed on a Tel Aviv road. No one is saying where it is because that might help Hamas to target 'better' the next time. But the people in those two cars are very lucky. In the meantime, there have been more rockets hitting the Tel Aviv area.
Hours after the first barrage of rockets hit Gaza frontier communities, three loud explosions were heard over Tel Aviv, shortly before 11 p.m., as Gaza continued to pound Israel.Earlier, rockets were shot at southern Israel.
Rocket alert sirens were heard in Beersheba, central Israel, Beit Shemesh – which borders the nation's capital – and in communities across the country's South.
A rocket directed at the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council landed near a shopping center in the area. No injuries were reported but damage was caused to a building.
Across the border, in Gaza, Palestinians were reporting a mounting number of injuries, following resumed air strikes on the Gaza Strip. Medical sources said a three-year-old girl was killed and dozens more wounded from an Israeli air strike on a home in the Sheik Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City.
Palestinians said Israel launched at least 30 air attacks over the past few hours.
Earlier, rocket fire from Gaza targeted the city of Beersheba, shattering a six-day truce between Israel and Hamas. Israeli aerial counter-strikes followed, as additional rocket attacks continued to strike several areas. Here we go again....
Three rockets fell in open areas near the Negev city in the afternoon; no air raid sirens were activated in the attack. Soon afterwards, IAF jets commenced air strikes on a series of terrorist targets across the Gaza Strip.
Gazan rocket fire continued on Tuesday afternoon and evening ; Iron Dome intercepted two rockets over Netivot, and additional projectiles fell near Ashdod, Hof Ashkelon, and Sdot Negev, triggering air raid sirens in Gaza border communities. The IAF struck around 30 targets by press time. Palestinian medical sources said five people were injured in the strikes. Their identity could not be verified.
Hof Ashkelon was targeted again with rockets just before press time.
Hamas denied firing rockets at Israel on Tuesday afternoon.
