What's it like on a bus when a driver takes a direct hit?
I've been on buses where passengers have gotten hit by stones and flying glass. It was quite scary. It doesn't have quite the effect it used to since Egged was forced to install shatterproof glass in the late 90's. But what happens when the driver gets hit? This video is from a 174 bus between Jerusalem and Maaleh Adumim on Saturday night. The bus was heading steeply downhill when the driver was hit and he managed to stop the bus before passing out.
Let's go to the videotape.
More here.
But stone-throwing is 'non-violent,' isn't it?
Labels: Egged bus company, Palestinian terrorism, stone throwers

Carl, you know that my Ivrit is nearly not there, but this? I understood, sadly, all too well what it must be like....and Israel and the Israelis are supposed to stand for this?
And with the Jerusalem light rail now just about destroyed by the muslimes? It seems that my use of the word 'sad' is just not enough.
