We keep hearing from Muslims how 'holy' their mosques are. But would you use something holy for a profane purpose like weapons storage and terrorist transport?
On July 30, a joint IDF task force uncovered a tunnel entrance on the
ground floor of a mosque that had been used by Hamas terrorists to
attack Israeli soldiers. The extent of the tunnel is revealed by amazing
aerial footage of its demolition. But first, a guided tour....
Let's go to the videotape.
Unfortunately, it seems that the explosion itself was omitted.
NOT A COMMENT
ReplyDeleteCarl,
Stuck at the end of a longer piece on the diplomatic play around the negotiations in Cairo (translated from Swedish):
"On the other hand Hamas is afraid of losing the support of the people. On Tuesday Hamas police shot and killed seven civilians in Beit Hanoun. According to a Palestinian source in Ramallah a fight erupted when Hamas men forced themselves in front of a UN bread-line and grabbed ration-cards for themselves."

This seems to be the new modus operandi for the Swedish journalists covering the Gaza conflict. Anti-Hamas information (such as Hamas or IJ missiles exploding in Gaza) is published but stuck in the middle or at the end of long texts without any further comments.
Maybe you can find some more info on the event related above.
Some corroboration of the story above can be found in this piece:
ReplyDeleteAnalysis: The hidden picture in Gaza
"In recent days, Hamas members seized UN food coupons and prevented Gazan civilians from receiving the aid, in order to try and keep field cell members fed."
