Hamas rocket hits gas station in Ashdod causing serious injury
A Hamas rocket hit a gas station in Ashdod causing one person to be seriously injured on Friday morning.The rocket, which came as part of a salvo of roughly 20 rockets, appears to have damaged a gas tanker truck, reports Yedioth Aharonoth. The explosion reportedly set off a large fire at the station.
Magen David Adom (MDA) medical teams are treating someone at the gas station who was inflicted a serious injury by the rocket. Several others reportedly are being treated by the medics for mild wounds.
Before the rocket hit, "Color Red" missile warning sirens were sounded in Ashdod, Rishon Letzion, Rehovot, Yavne and communities in the Gaza Belt region.It looks like it's going to be a hot weekend in more ways than one.
