Disgraceful 'Arab art'
On Twitter, I follow (although I may be blocked by the time you read this) an Arab journalist named Sultan al-Qassemi, whose handle is שחררו את פלסטין (free 'Palestine' - in Hebrew).Earlier today, he tweeted a collection of 'Arab art' which is currently being shown in Sharjah, UAE, which included this:
Just had an in-depth tour of @SultanAlQassemi's impressive collection of Arab art. pic.twitter.com/qpVIFmlRWp

For those of you who need help, those are Olympic rings in the middle, and the picture at the top left is Yasser Arafat standing and cheering the Munich 11 murderers. Here's the original picture (which did not include Arafat - he would never have exposed himself to danger like that).
The picture at top right is a group of people hanging and might be based on Iran, Hamas, or many other places in the Arab-Muslim world (someone in the comment feed asked whether the picture was 'Persian' and did not get an answer).
Anyone who still believes that 'moderate Arabs' don't celebrate 'Palestinian' terrorism, or that there is such a thing as a 'moderate Muslim' ought to find this 'collection' enlightening.
Labels: Islamic terrorism, Palestinian terrorism

Well, there *are* moderate Muslims. The artist (and the journalist) was not one of them. But this very blog has featured many examples of moderate Muslims... they are very rare in the Arab world though.
