The 'Tel Aviv is the capital of Israel' delusion
Some, especially in the mainstream media, pretend that not Tel Aviv, rather than Jerusalem, serves as the capital of Israel. (Tel Aviv hosts the Ministry of Defense but not much else of the central government.) This parallels a tendency lately to pretend there’s a country called Palestine. As long as the international community insists on dealing with a make-believe version of the situation thay'll continue to be propose bad solutions and come up with wrong predictions.
They can ignore or deny the facts as much as they like but the darn things just don't go away.
