Party uber alles: Emergency Committee for Israel statement on withdrawal of Democratic support for vote on Iran sanctions bill
The Emergency Committee for Israel has issued a statement on the withdrawal of support by Senate Democrats for forcing a vote on the Menendez-Kirk Iran sanctions bill.We commend 42 Senators for their strong letter demanding a vote on S. 1881, the bipartisan Nuclear Weapon Free Iran Act, which has been cosponsored by more than half of the Senate. The bill is simple and reasonable. It would reimpose existing sanctions suspended under the interim agreement if Iran cheats; it would ensure that a final agreement requires Iran to dismantle its illicit nuclear infrastructure; and it promises to impose additional economic sanctions in the future should Iran fail to agree to a final deal that dismantles its nuclear infrastructure.Unfortunately, that seems to be exactly the direction in which we are headed. The 'pro-Israel community' is being made into a fetish of bipartisanship, and a nuclear Iran is likely to result.
As the Senators put it in their letter to the Majority Leader, “Now we have come to a crossroads. Will the Senate allow Iran to keep its illicit nuclear infrastructure in place, rebuild its teetering economy and ultimately develop nuclear weapons at some point in the future?”
The answer to this question must be no. The Senate should act now to deliver that answer. It would be nice if there were universal bipartisan support for acting now to stop a nuclear Iran. But there apparently is not. And it would be terrible if history's judgment on the pro-Israel community was that it made a fetish of bipartisanship -- and got a nuclear Iran.

I'm amazed that no one points out as regard these Marcuse Marxist Democrats: In Iran's make-or-buy analysis decades ago, the "make" decision could well have been based on their hindered cash supply. Now, even if the bickering results in a re-imposition of the sanctions, $$BBillions of Iran's interdicted ca$h has already gone out the barn door, right? So even reinstating the Dems' say-anything favored sanctions, even if they get Iran to stop their "make" process, all they have to do is take the new infusion of CA$H and "BUY". I haven't been able to figure out who actually ENDED the sanctions and they already, what, direct deposited by computer, the $$BBillions? The current machinations are absurd, because the Democrats have already screwed the pooch... which is something they approve of. Any Dems who are wavering... put a note on Israel Matzav's comments and someone can help you find your way to getting involved, or at least donating, to groups OPPOSING these anti-semitic murdering Democrats. (Of course, none will be a perfect match for your own opinions, but the opposition organizations are way better than these Progressive Dems.
BTW, the weaponization of the IRS, EPA, etc. against counter-commie groups is being addressed. Some are calling for setting up LLC's or similar (rather than 503/504/whatever), in order to NOT be under the thumb of the lawless Dem "status" or reporting jerkarounds.
