I'm going to make a wild guess...that this baby was not born in one of the Muslim areas of the Philippines. Had a Muslim area been the case, the parents would still have taken advantage of the Israeli field hospital...but named the baby Ingrate Jihad, or some such.

I'm also going to copy 'n paste a lengthy book quote here...and see if anybody can name the author! I predict most readers will be surprised when I post the answer tomorrow (confidently guessing that nobody will get this one right!)

Hint #1 From author's first book
Hint #2 Published in 1899.
Hint #3 Author much later won the Nobel Prize for Literature for other works.

"How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries!
Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the
Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyzes the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step, and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it (Islam) has vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome."

Abe, you make eat my words and you get the Gold Star!

That's a quote from Winston Churchill's first book, "The River War", published in 1899. Young Churchill, an 1895 Graduate of Sandhurst Royal Military College, had 4 years experience in living in Muslim lands in peace and in war-Muslim majority areas of what's now India, what's now Pakistan, Egypt and Sudan. He was, as is obvious, very unimpressed with islam and islamic "culture". Note also the last sentence. That no longer being true, European culture is more and more vulnerable, making their allowing of immigration of mass numbers of muslims more and more suicidal.
