Bibi goes ballistic
I know that I undertook a couple of months ago not to use the moniker 'Bibi' to describe the Prime Minister, but the headline just wouldn't be the same without it.Prime Minister Netanyahu was supposed to have a press conference with US Secretary of State John Kerry this morning. But Kerry ducked out to go to Geneva to negotiate a 'deal' with Iran that's (justifiably) not making Netanyahu very happy, and Netanyahu used the opportunity to tear into Kerry and his boss, Barack Hussein Obama.
This isn't on any of the websites as of this writing, but it's all over Twitter. Here are some example from my feed.
Breaking: Netanyahu: Israel is not obliged by this agreement and will do everything it needs to do to defend itself.

Whoa! Bibi is pissed. "This is a bad deal. This is a very bad deal and Israel utterly rejects it." #SecKerry can't be enjoying this.

Kerry canceled his photo-op with Netanyahu this morning to dodge public confrontation. Netanyahu decided to go to the cameramen alone

"Iran got the deal of the century and the international community got a bad deal," Netanyahu says heading into meeting with Kerry

Netanyahu says the nuclear agreement under consideration with Iran would bury "the possibility of having a peaceful resolution"

The Isr/Pal negotiations passed away in Geneva. Without strong faith in US, Bibi won't move an inch. Right now his level of belief is zero

Wow....

Hmmm...Munich Agreement Deja Vu, anyone?
Winston Churchill's description in Parliament of Chamberlain's Munich Agreement, "The Prime Minister, having forsaken Honor for Peace, will have neither."
Which ties in with:
Spanish historian Georges Santayana's paradoxical maxim: "We learn from History that we don't learn from History."
What did he expect from Obama? Everyone could have told him this would have happened? So why didn't he attack Iran a year ago? And why did he inform Obama before hand?
