Syrian rebels: IAF destroyed Assad's S-300's
A Syrian rebel group has posted to its Facebook page that the IAF destroyed Bashar al-Assad's S-300 anti-missile system
in a raid on Latakia
last Thursday night. This is from the first link.
Free Syrian Army rebels posted to Facebook, "The brave Army
of Assad has conceded the IAF destroyed a warehouse containing Russian
S-300 missiles and launchers in the al-Qassia camp near the town of
al-Hafa East of Homs."
FSA added the raid was to prevent them from obtaining the missiles, according to a Tuesday morning report by Yisrael Hayom.
