Mom's yahrtzeit
Although like nearly every Jew of her generation in the Boston area, Mom was a lifelong Democrat, she was also very strongly pro-Israel, and opposed to giving up one inch of the territory liberated in 1967. She would surely have loved this blog, which I started a few months after she passed away.
Mom did not have a lot of Jewish education, and was determined that her children would have more than she had. We did.
And her grandchildren have had even more.

May her neshama have an aliyah. She has lots of z'chusim through you and your children.
