25 Syrian shells hit Israeli side of Golan

25 Syrian shells hit the Israeli side of the Golan Heights on Tuesday during battles between forces loyal to Bashar al-Assad and Syrian rebels.

Some 25 mortar shells landed inside Israeli territory since the early morning hours as a result of battles between rebels and Syrian army forces in the Golan Heights. No injuries or damage were reported.

The IDF has lodged a complaint with the UNDOF peacekeeping force.
