Near miss over Eilat

An American C-130 military jet nearly hit an Arkia passenger jet over Eilat's airport on Thursday. The American plane was enroute from Bahrain to Jordan, while the Israeli jet was landing in Eilat.
A C-130 Hercules aircraft flying from Bahrain to Jordan and the Arkia plane came within two miles of each other, according to reports.

The military aircraft tried to land at the Eilat Airport believing it was the King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba. The Israeli control tower helped the US plane make it to Jordan.

It was the second time in two weeks that there has been a near-miss over Eilat.
Hmmm.

I don't believe this. First of all two miles at landing speed is not a near miss. 2nd - A C-130 is not a military jet. It's a Turboprop. Haven't you watched Operation Jonathan a million times like I have and not noticed that the Hercules has propellers? I've jumped out of the Hercules a few times and thankful that they are not jets.
