BDS'ers pressure UEFA on soccer tourney

The UEFA soccer championship for under 21 year-old players is being played in Jerusalem next month, and the BDSers are seething.
European football's governing body, Uefa, has been accused of showing "total insensitivity" to the "blatant and entrenched discrimination" of Israel against Palestinian sportspeople.
A group led by Nobel peace prize laureate, former archbishop Desmond Tutu, and footballer Frédéric Kanouté have accused the body of "rewarding Israel's cruel and lawless behaviour" against Palestinians by allowing Israel to host the European Under-21 Championship next month.
In a letter in today's Guardian, they call on Uefa "to reverse the choice of Israel as a venue".
Signatories of the letter include the actor Roger Lloyd Pack, film-maker Ken Loach, comic Alexei Sayle, Michael Mansfield QC and the Labour MP Jeremy Corbyn.
• This article was amended on 28 May 2013. The original misquoted a section of the letter referred to, using the word "crass" where the letter actually says "cruel".
Israel's own soccer leagues include at all levels 'Israeli Arabs' who define themselves as 'Palestinians.' Where's the discrimination?

The letter adds the following:
Uefa should not allow Israel to use a prestigious football occasion to whitewash its racist denial of Palestinian rights and its illegal occupation of Palestinian land.
We urge Uefa to follow the brave example of world-renowned scientist Stephen Hawking who, on advice from Palestinian colleagues, declined to take part in an international conference in Israel. We call on Uefa, even at this late stage, to reverse the choice of Israel as a venue.
 Comments:

1. It's a soccer tournament!
2. 'Palestinians' have more rights in Israel than in any country in the Arab world. Ask them.
3. UN Resolution 242 does not say that Israel is an 'illegal occupier.'
4. Still waiting for Stephen Hawking to give up all that Israeli technology that allows him to function.

LOL LOL Ah, Carl...you are a hoot, man!

I will not dignify Desmond Tutu and the rest of the ignorant awarded lot with a comment. But I will comment your comments:

1. נכון?
2. You know it.
3. Do you think these people have ever read one UN Resolution in their life? They don't even read history books.
4. LOL I shouldn't laugh at this, but I can't help it: way too funny!

Cheers

Remember, HUGE swaths of the American public cannot read due to marxist coercive education systems and more willfully will not read anything that doesn't advocate the progressive new left marcuse marxist fairness theology. Can/Does Stephen Hawking read anything outside his Gaia Hipster sphere? Uh, probably not.
