The Iron Lady is gone

After seeing the quote above, it's probably no surprise to you that Israelis are mourning the death of the Iron Lady, former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu mourned the death Monday of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, referring to her as "a true friend of the Jewish People and Israel."
"She was truly a great leader, a woman of principle, of determination, of conviction, of strength; a woman of greatness," he stated.
The "Iron Lady" who dominated British politics for two decades, died on Monday following a stroke, a spokesman for her family said. She was 87.
Netanyahu sent his condolences to Thatcher's family in addition to the British government and people. "She inspired a generation of political leaders," he added.
Britain's only woman prime minister, the tough, outspoken Thatcher, led the Conservatives to three election victories, governing from 1979 to 1990, the longest continuous period in office by a British prime minister since the early 19th century.

...

UK Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks responded to the former British leader's death stating that, "She was loved and admired by many in the Jewish community who will miss her deeply."
Rabbi Sacks, who met Thatcher when she was a local MP attested to the "personal imprint" she left on British life, "Baroness Thatcher was a giant who had a transformative impact on Britain," he said.
Queen Elizabeth said she was sad to hear the news of Thatcher's death and sent a message of sympathy to her family.
Has anyone heard from Obama yet?
