“These are not Palestinian conditions, but obligations that Israel is required to fulfill,” Erekat said. He said that there would be no EU initiative to resume the peace talks without US involvement.
Erekat called on the administration of US President Barack Obama to “stop treating Israel as if it were a country above the law.”
The Palestinians, he added, would not “repeat the lunacy of returning to the negotiations while Israel is not fulfilling its obligations.”The 'obligations' to which Saeb is referring are a 'settlement freeze' and a mass release of 'Palestinian' terrorists from Israeli prisons.
Funny, but I don't recall us agreeing to that as a condition to starting 'negotiations.'
But I agree with Saeb. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Returning to 'peace talks' with lunatics like Saeb and Abu Bluff would be lunacy.
What could go wrong?
